Smart Radio: Logitech UE Smart Radio combines the simplicity of radio
with the power of the Internet. Turn it on, connect to your home's network, and
instantly access thousands of free Internet radio stations from around the
world; online services like Pandora and Spotify, or even the music stored on
your computer. You will need to register for a
free Logitech
UE Smart Radio account in order to access your computer's music and listen
to on-line music content.
Two-Way Speaker System: The Logitech UE Smart Radio features a 0.75"
high-definition, soft-dome tweeter and a 3" high-power, long-throw woofer.
The drivers are bi-amplified by class D amplifiers (10 watts total) with digital electronic
crossovers.
Network Connection: The Smart Radio lets you connect to your home's
network via a wired Ethernet or wireless WiFi (802.11b/g) connection. Once
connected to your home's network, the Smart Radio can access music files stored
on your computer, Internet Radio, and a variety of online music services.
Music File Playback from your Computer: The Smart Radio
lets you access and playback music stored on your Windows or Mac computer. To
play music from your Windows or Mac computer, you must first download and
install the UE Music Library software from
www.UEsmartradio.com/download. Then you can select My Music on the Smart Radio to
browse and play a track. The Smart Radio supports playback of MP3, FLAC, WAV,
AIFF, WMA, OGG Vorbis, AAC, and Apple Lossless music files. Your computer must
meet the following requirements:

Presets/Favorites: You can
store up to six Internet Radio or Online Music Service stations as your
"favorites" for quicker access from the unit's front-panel preset buttons (1-6).
Smart Radio Controller App: The free Smart Radio Controller app for
Apple iOS and
Android devices transforms your smartphone or tablet into a master music
controller. More than just a remote, you get seamless navigation of your music
services, radio stations and personal music collection. You can quickly access
and control all the music for the Smart Radio including Internet radio, music
services and your local music library. You are able to sign into and control
music services such as SiriusXM, Pandora, Spotify, TuneIn, MOG and others;
without launching additional apps. You can add radio stations, playlists, albums
and more to your list of favorites; as well as view album art, artist, as well
as track and album name.
Note: Compatible Apple iOS devices include - iPod touch, iPhone,
iPad (running iOS 4.0 or later). Compatible Android devices - Android
(2.2-up).
Auxiliary Input: The Logitech UE Smart Radio features a rear-panel
3.5mm input for connecting external audio source, such as your MP3 player.
Headphone Jack: The radio is equipped with a 3.5mm headphone output
for connecting a set of stereo headphones for private listening. Connecting
headphones will mute the unit's built-in speakers.
2.4" Color LCD: The 2.5" color screen displays track & station
information, plus Album Art. An integrated ambient light sensor adjusts the
display brightness according to your environment.
Digital Alarm Clock: The Smart Radio features a built-in digital alarm
clock with sleep timer function. The unit will display Month, Date, Day and
Time. You can configure multiple alarms by time, day/week, sound, and volume. The
Smart Radio also lets you go to sleep listening to your music for predetermined
amount of time. You can adjust the sleep timer from 15, 30, 60, 90, or 120
minutes.
Rechargeable Battery: The rechargeable battery provides up to 6 hours
(varies with use, settings and environmental conditions) of playback and lets
you take the music around your home, so you can enjoy an uninterrupted flow of
music - from the bedroom to the backyard - anywhere around the house where you
have a WiFi signal. The battery charges when the radio is connected to AC power.
A full charge takes approximately 6 hours. You can use your radio while it's
charging.
