About the MTX RoadThunder RT202
It's "trickle down" electronics. They may not offer the same sophisticated sound-shaping and control options, but MTX's Road Thunder amps incorporate many design features originally developed for the celebrated Thunder amps.
You get a MOSFET power supply, Intelligent Surface Mount Technology, and low-noise Pure N-Channel Design circuitry all primed to deliver rumblin' MTX performance from your speakers and subs. You also get an amp with more usable power, greater sonic accuracy, and extended reliability at a wallet-friendly price.
The RT202 (37.5 watts RMS x 2) is perfect for driving a pair of coaxial speakers or a component set. Bridged to mono operation, it'll also power a subwoofer with a solid 150 watts. You can adjust the amp's output with the selectable high-/low-pass filter (18 dB per octave at 85 Hz), or use the preamp outputs to send a clean signal to another amp. Smart-Engage turns on the amplifier when it senses a signal at the speaker-level inputs a convenient feature when you're hooking up to a factory radio.

Have this AMP pushing a 120 rms 10" Pioneer sub in my little Ford Ranger. Nice small and compact setup for a single cab. Gain is set at 90%, bridged, and it hits hard and clean. Been bumpin' for nearly 20 years now.
