HDTV Tuner: The Proscan 19LA25Q
Television has a built-in over-the-air HDTV (ATSC) tuner, so you don't need a
separate set-top box to receive and decode over-the-air HDTV/SDTV signals. The
unit also features a standard NTSC tuner and a built-in digital cable QAM tuner.
Native Resolution: The Proscan
19" LCD HDTV has a native resolution of 1440x 900. The component video inputs will accept 720p, 480p
and 480i signals and display them as 1366 x 768. The composite video and S-video input will accept a
480i signal, and will display it as 1366 x 768.
16:10" LCD Display: The
television's 16:10" TFT LCD panel features an 5 millisecond response time for
smooth motion picture transitioning and a viewing angle of 160-degrees
horizontally and 150-degrees vertically for placement versatility. The LCD display supports
up to 16.2 million colors with a 700:1 contrast ratio and a 300 cd/m2 brightness
level for excellent video reproduction.
Digital Comb Filter: The
TV's digital comb filter helps filter and clean-up an off-air, cable, or
satellite signal passed through the television's coaxial antenna input to
provide a clearer picture.
Video Noise Reduction: The
television utilizes the following 3 different video noise reduction systems to
reduce unwanted picture distortion - Spatial noise reduction, Speckle noise
reduction and Temporal noise reduction.
Picture Aspect Ratio: The TV
offers the following picture aspect ratios to match your video source - Normal,
Zoom, Wide and Cinema.
Picture Settings: The
television offers 3 preset picture settings (Standard, Vivid, Bright) as well as
the following customized picture adjustments that can be increased from levels
of 0 to 100 - Contrast, Brightness, Sharpness, Color, and Tint.
Color Temperature: The TV features a color
temperature adjustment that can set to either Normal, Cool or Warm.
Audio Settings: The television
features 3 preset audio settings (Voice, Concert, Jazz) as well as a user
adjustment that allows you to customize the bass, treble and balance
independently from level of 0 to 63.
Freeze: The remote control
features a Freeze button that allows you to freeze a moving picture.
Multi-Language Menu: The TV
features a multi-language menu that display either English, French or Spanish
text.
Channel Label: The television
allows you to customize a name for the incoming stations. The channel name can
be up to seven characters using either numbers or letters.
Digital Closed Captions: In
addition to standard closed captioning, the TV also features digital closed
captions which allow you to adjust the size, font, color, opacity, background
and edges of the CC-text.
Sleep Timer: The TV's sleep
timer can be set to turn off the TV automatically after 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120,
180, or 240 minutes of use.
Parental Lock: The television
utilizes a parental lock system with six levels of movie and TV ratings that is
protected by a user customized 4-digit password to prevent certain programming
from being viewed on the TV.
PC Compatible: The TV can be used as
a computer monitor through its PC (VGA) input. While in PC-mode you can adjust
the position of the picture from left to right or up and down of the screen. You
can also use the Phase feature to remove any horizontal noise and the Clock
feature to minimize any vertical bars or strips visible in the background. There
is also an Auto feature that adjust all these settings automatically for your.
TV Only Remote: The
supplied TV only IR wireless remote contains controls for only the television itself
which simplifies the remote and makes it easy to use.
Mounting Options
Removable Stand: The
display comes mounted on a removable, adjustable tabletop stand. The display can
be angled forward or backward when mounted to the tabletop stand. The stand can
be removed by unscrewing three phillips-head screws from the back panel.
VESA Mounting Bracket
Standard: The TV has 4 mounting holes on the back for an optional wall-mount
bracket. The spacing of the mounting holes is VESA 100mm x 100mm, in accordance
with the industry standards set by the Video Electronics Standards Association.
The mounting holes accommodate M4 screws.

Component Video Input: The
component video input will accept 720p, 480p, and 480i signals.
PC Input (VGA): A 15-pin D-sub jack allows you to connect your personal computer to the display. There is also
a corresponding stereo mini-jack (3.5mm) for the computer's audio signal..
Audio Out: The TV features a 3.5mm
mini-stereo audio output.
