Features
Overview: The Sony Micro Vault Mach USB Flash Drive (USM-Q
series) makes backing up your data quick & easy. Simply plug the Micro Vault
into your computer's USB port, then drag and drop the data you want to save. The
USM-Q series flash drives have a durable, high-quality hairline metal body
finish. It has a spring-loaded retractable mechanism, just like a ballpoint pen.
The one-piece design means you don't have to worry about losing the cap.
Super Speed USB 3.0: The Micro Vault Mach is compatible with
Super Speed USB (USB 3.0), with data transfer speeds of up to 120 MB/s. USB 3.0
devices use two-channel data transfer, providing faster transfer speeds that
save time when transferring high definition movie files and photos. If your PC
does not support a USB 3.0 interface, the flash drive is backwards compatible
with USB 2.0 with transfer speeds of up to 30 MB/s.
LED Indicator: When the data transfer is in progress, the
easy-to-read LED indicator illuminates. It is visible from all angles, so you can easily check
the status of the data transfer. The indicator turns on only during the data
access and remains off when there is no activity.
USB Port: The Sony Micro Vault Mach employs a male USB (Type-A)
connector which will plug directly into female USB (Type-A) ports of
your computer. The inner side of a USB 3.0 port is blue. The Micro Vault Mach
can be used with computers with USB 2.0 ports, but with slower transfer speed.
Free Software: The Sony Micro Vault USB Flash Drive
includes free EasyLock software, which offers an easy way to secure your files
by using strong, military-grade 256-bit AES encryption. Downloadable File Rescue software helps recover
data, photos and videos
that have been accidentally damaged or deleted. x-Pict Story software is also
downloadable, and can be used
for creating customized slideshows of your images.
