A pre-installed infrared system sends commands from your remote to your components stored in the bottom drawers.
Placing your TV on a fireplace mantel can make a great centerpiece for a room — if you have a fireplace in the right spot. And if you don't? The UpLift Remington cabinet is one way to get that cozy ambience. It includes an electric simulated fireplace, along with advanced storage options for your TV and A/V components.
Keep your TV out of sight when not in use
When your TV's not in use, its empty, retangular screen doesn't have to dominate the room. The Remington has a motorized lift . A built-in heavy-duty rack and pinion lift lets you lower your TV into the cabinet at a touch of the included remote.Another button press, and your TV rises up smoothly, ready for your viewing pleasure. The Remington can accommodate a TV with a maximum width of 52", and weighing up to 80 lbs. Welded steel construction ensures solid support for your TV, and smooth and nearly silent lift motion.
Hidden storage
Above the fireplace inset, there'a a drawer that runs the full width of the cabinet. The drawer comes with three optional panels; wood, glass, and cloth. The cloth panel lets you use the compartment for a center channel speaker or sound bar.
There are also concealed compartments on either side of the cabinet, great for DVDs, Blu-rays discs, and other media.
The drawer above the fireplace inset has three interchangeable panels: wood, speaker cloth, and glass (glass panel shown).
Fine furniture craftsmanship
The Remington has a classic, timeless look, and is made of hand-selected solid birch, accented with cathedral mahogany. The cabinet features two component drawers at its base, with flip-down panels. A pre-installed infrared repeater system lets you control your system even with the panels closed.
