    Overview: The Fujifilm LH-X100 is an aluminum lens hood made exclusively for use with the FinePix X100 digital camera. It includes the AR-X100 adapter ring, which is required to attach the lens hood to the camera. The adapter ring can also be used for mounting optional 49mm (diameter) filters from third-party suppliers. A soft carrying pouch is included for storage.

    The hood is perfect, it protects the lens and shields the sun. When shooting out doors. Alittle pricey, but worth it.

    Adapter ring and hood well made and fit nicely. Very pricey and I'm not sure I'll be using the hood very much. If you are on a budget I'd probably suggest getting the adapter ring alone (there is also a non Fuji one available for considerably less). I think putting a protective UV filter is a must since this is a fixed lens and any significant scratches would ruin a fantastic camera.
