Features
Single Speaker: The Polk R300
is packaged as a single floor-standing speaker, and are priced individually.
Dynamic Balance: Dynamic Balance is a proprietary Polk Audio technology using laser imaging to determine what combination of speaker materials create the least amount of resonance. Eliminating resonance in speakers results in a wide, smooth response and low distortion.
Composite Woofers:
The speaker has a 6-1/2" Dynamic Balance mineral filled polymer composite woofer
housed in an acoustically inert stamped driver basket for clean and accurate
mid/bass. For a smoother response and improved
durability, each woofer uses a butyl rubber surround.
Silk/Polymer Composite Tweeters:
The speaker has a 3/4" Dynamic Balance silk/polymer composite dome tweeter
with a neodymium magnet for clear, detailed
highs.
Video Shielded: The speaker is magnetically shielded for safe placement near your video sources.
Mylar Capacitors: The speaker
utilizes Mylar bypass capacitors to extend its high frequency response and
improve detail and transparency.
Bass Port: A rear-firing bass
port gives you deep, punchy bass response.
Grille: The speaker features
anti-diffraction grilles that minimize grille diffraction for spacious,
three-dimensional imaging.
5-Way Binding
Posts: The
5-way binding posts will accept bare wire, pin connectors, spade connectors,
banana plugs, and dual banana plugs.
Feet: The speaker is equipped
with four non-adjustable screw-on wooden feet. No carpet spikes are included.
Timbre-Matched: The Polk R300
is designed to fit into any Polk Audio home theater or multi-channel music system
for a more realistic seamless surround sound environment.
Applications: A pair of R300s can be
used as front or rear speakers in your home theater application or can be used
as your main stereo pair for music listening.
