Note: Some aftermarket speakers have terminals that are wider than this harness's slide-on connectors. You may need to widen the harness's female slide-on connectors, or use the slide terminals that may be included with the speakers. If you need to connect your new speaker's connectors to the Crutchfield harness, soldering is best, and crimping is also very popular - see "Accessories."

Features

Crutchfield Speaker Harness: Crutchfield speaker harnesses prevent you from having to cut your vehicle's factory speaker plugs when replacing your factory speakers with aftermarket car speakers. The Crutchfield speaker harness features two female quick-slide connectors on one end to attach directly to your new aftermarket car speakers & a proprietary Molex connector on the other end that connects to your vehicle's factory speaker plug.

Quick-Slide Connectors: The Crutchfield speaker harness is equipped with a large (positive) & small (negative) female quick-slide terminal. These quick-slide terminals fit directly onto most aftermarket car stereo speaker terminals (slight crimping may be required). In rare cases that the quick-slide terminals do not fit your car speaker terminals, you will need to solder the Crutchfield speaker harness to your aftermarket speaker's terminals or replace the quick-slide connectors on the Crutchfield speaker harness with the correct size terminal.

Quick-Slide Terminal Measurements: The positive female quick-slide terminal measures 0.205" (inner width), while the negative female quick-slide terminal measures 0.115" (inner width).

This product made it very easy to install my aftermarket speakers in my Nissan Maxima. Did not need to splice any wires or alter the factory wiring harnesses in any way. Plug and play installation =)

Crutchfield makes it so easy to upgrade old car stereo from the golden oldies. I have a 96 Pathfinder and was expecting a whole day of installation. Took me only 2 hours to completely install front and rear speakers with the instructions they provided and the kits. I will buy from no other company !

I'm a big fan of the installation gear that Crutchfield provides (one of the major reasons I like to order from them rather than elsewhere), so I was disappointed when the terminals on these adapters were too small for the speakers I had ordered at the same time. I was forced to cut them off and then twist them onto the speakers and heat-shrink in place.

- Connect easily and security to car harness.

- Wrong size terminals for speakers I ordered.

This speaker harness did not fit the factory wires on the front speakers of my
Hyundai Sonata 2004. The Crutchfield website car fit option said it would fit
but the plastic connectors were different.

This kit makes the speaker installation about as easy as you could expect. No
soldering is required and both ends of the harness plug into their mating
connectors perfectly. I used a large cable tie to secure the wires to the
speaker magnet to prevent any movement. Overall, this harness is an absolute
necessity unless you like to solder.

Not much to say. They plugged in to the existing vehicle harness perfectly, plugged in to the speaker and did the job.

Sure made it easier than splicing wires! I would definately get them again (especially since they came free with the speakers).

I had a little difficulty with these speaker wires. I first appeared that they would work great. It was nice that they plugged into my cars wiring system. When I plugged them into the new speaker, the connections were a little loose. I had to compress the connectors to make them tighter. Then it was a little too tight causing me to break off one of the pieces of metal on the speaker. I had to cut off the connector and solder the wire right onto the speaker. Then it worked great! If you buy this, I recommend you put the connectors onto the speaker, then compress them down in place.
