The dock's removable wireless cradle gives you some cool flexibility. You can play your music while the cradle's in the base, and let your iPod charge at the same time. Or remove the cradle and docked player and stroll around the room while the music keeps playing. The cradle wirelessly streams music from your iPod or iPhone to the base, and from there to the connected sound bar. Select music on the iPod in your hand, and enjoy it through the Samsung sound bar. It's just that simple.

Overview: The Samsung HT-WDC10 wireless iPod/iPhone dock lets you wirelessly stream audio content from your iPod or iPhone to select Samsung speaker systems and Blu-ray home entertainment systems. The HT-WDC10 is also battery-charged, so you can move around your house freely with your docked iPod/iPhone.

Samsung Compatibility: The HT-WDC10 wireless iPod/iPhone dock is compatible with the following Samsung speaker systems and Blu-ray home entertainment systems (as of May 2011).

  • HW-D450
  • HW-D550

Wireless Dock: The Samsung HT-WDC10 wireless iPod/iPhone dock wirelessly transmits audio to your compatible Samsung speaker system via RF. You can wirelessly transmit audio from music files, podcasts, audiobooks, and apps stored on your iPod/iPhone. The wireless dock is battery-charged and can be picked up and taken with you, so you can  move around your house with your docked iPod/iPhone and still wirelessly transmit audio to your compatible Samsung speaker system. All song/artist information and control functions will still need to be done via your iPod/iPhone.

Charging Cradle: The Samsung HT-WDC10 includes a charging cradle which lets you charge the wireless dock and your docked iPod/iPhone simultaneously. The charging time is approximately 90 minutes (+/-10 min). Available running time is approximately 180 minutes (+/-30 min). The charging cradle include an AC power adapter and 59" charging cradle.

Easy to set up for use with Samsung Sound Bar. Very easy to use. Can control play-pause-stop, volume, skip, track choice, playlists, etc. from iPod as if you were using headphones. Takes advantage of great sound from sound bar and subwoofer. Was exactly what I was looking for.
