Can a better AC power cord really improve a component's performance? The surprising answer is "yes." Many DVD players, satellite/cable boxes, and video game consoles come with a detachable power cord, which gives you the flexibility to upgrade to a higher-quality cable. The AC power that feeds your gear is really the foundation of your system's audio and video performance. Advanced materials and construction for lower distortion
The NRG-1.5 uses four solid conductors made of high-purity long-grain copper. Solid conductors eliminate interaction between wire strands, which is a major source of distortion in an AC power cable.
