Posi-Products connectors help make your electrical connections fast, easy, and reliable with no crimping, soldering, or messy tape. Just strip your stranded wires, insert them in the caps, and then hand tighten the two caps together — the wire ends get locked between opposing cone shapes to create a water-, dirt-, vibration-, and heat-proof housing. You get a strong, low-resistance electrical connection, and you can reuse the connectors, too.

The Mobile Electronics Series Connector Kits come with various assortments of special Posi-Lock® and Posi-Tap™ connectors with gold-plated contacts to integrate your aftermarket equipment into your vehicle's electrical system. Experienced installers have selected the contents of each kit carefully, so you can be sure you'll have all the right connectors necessary to get the job done.

This Car Stereo Connector Kit comes with 16 Posi-Twist™ connectors — enough to hook up the speakers, power, and accessories in most car stereo installations. Warranty: 30 days.

Features

Overview: This kit comes with sixteen Posi-Twist connectors for installing an aftermarket head unit in your vehicle. Posi-Twist connectors replace old-fashioned wire nuts and crimp caps with stronger, more reliable connections. These connectors are compatible with two 18-20 gauge wires, up to four 22 gauge wires, up to five 24 gauge wires, and up to six 26 gauge wires. Just strip your stranded wires, insert them in the caps, and then hand tighten the two caps together - the wire ends are locked between opposing cone shapes to create a dirt-, vibration-, and heat-proof housing. The connectors are also reusable.

So Easy!

I borrowed a wire stripper to wire a harness for receiver installation. These connectors were a dream. No soldering or crimping necessary. Just twist your wires, insert them into the bottom of the connector, and screw on the top. Presto! Done.

If you don't plan to solder your wiring, consider these as an option to crimping your wires together. Easy to use, and if you make a wring mistake, you can unscrew and reuse the connector. Made im install so much easier!

I planned to solder and shrink tube all of the connections but found this product to use. It was so easy to connect the receiver harness to the factory harness adapter supplied by Crutchfield. Took about 15 minutes. I also liked the ability to disconnect wiring without having to cut leads. I decided to add an external woofer amplifier later and changing my connections was easy. I will buy these for every install in the future (travel trailer, boat, etc.). Thanks.

These connectors seem to work well and have a tight fit. No complaints. They aren't any simpler than standard crimping connectors, but give you the option of multiple uses.

These connectors work great. I hate soldering, and never trust the crimp style connectors to hold. These connectors are very easy to use and seem to have a very positive hold. They make wiring things easy!

Perfect. Couldn't be easier to use. Simple and surprisingly secure connection. Much better than the various crimp caps I've tried, and much cleaner/quicker than soldering. Will definitely use again for any future projects.

These things are extremely handy! They provide for a good, solid connection that is simple and easily removable as well. Much simpler tham soldering or crimping. I'd even like to see a larger size as well that could do larger wire or more than 2 wires at a time.
