HELIX builds their low-profile Blue Series speakers to fit into more factory speaker locations while maintaining their high standards for sound quality. Helix earned its reputation by paying attention to the details, and these speakers really uphold the family name.

The Blue Series B69X 6"x9" speakers make the most out of the power they're given, so they'll sound great paired up to an aftermarket car stereo. But they can handle up to 50 watts RMS of real-world power, so hook them up with an external amplifier if you really want to bring them to life. The added power gets you better bass and more accurate stereo separation, and your ears will thank you for the extra juice.

The drivers

You'll hear excellent high-frequency detail from the 1/2" Mylar dome tweeter, while the polypropylene woofer supplies solid, punchy bass. Features

Woofer Materials: Each woofer cone is made of Injection-Molded Polypropylene. This process of cone molding assures a uniform cone thickness for superior linearity and clarity. It is also lighter weight and more rigid for decreased distortion and improved bass response.

Mylar Tweeter/Midrange: Each speaker has a 1/2" Mylar dome tweeter for clean, accurate highs; and a 2" Mylar midrange for a smooth transition from the woofer to the higher frequency output.

Magnet cover: The B 69X are shipped with a rubber magnet cover to protect the speaker. If the cover is removed the depth changes slightly:

Top Mount Depth: 3.024"
Bottom Mount Depth: 3.430"
