Video: Olympus 75mm f/1.8 Lens
Olympus calls the 75mm f/1.8 lens a portrait lens in its promotional copy, but it's really so much more than that. Lenses that simultaneously feature a light-hungry f/1.8 aperture and a 150mm equivalent focal length are rare, and are very much in demand by sports and nature photographers in particular. They are capable of delivering singular isolation of your subject from a distance, in low light.
I've got the Olympus 75mm f/1.8 lens here. This is a Micro Four-Thirds design, so as you can see it's quite small, but it also doubles the effective focal length to 150mm. So this is a serious portrait lens and with the wide f/1.8 maximum aperture means it'll let in tons of light, and it'll also let you blur the backgrounds for creative effect really nicely. And as you can see, the lens is quite small for something this long. If you had this on an SLR camera it would be a much bigger lens, but that's one of the advantages of the Micro Four-Thirds system is you can have a high powered lens like this in such a small size. If you any questions about this or any other lens just give us a call.
