Overview: The GripTight Micro Stand by Joby contains two items: the GripTight Mount and the Micro 250 tripod. Together, this super-compact stand can be used to hold most smartphones for viewing content or for taking photos and videos.

Usage: The GripTight mount is a spring-loaded clamp that provides a tight fit for all iPhones and iPod touch models, as well as most Android and Windows smart phones from 2.1" and 2.8" in width, with or without a case. The mount has a standard 1/4"-20 tripod thread so it can be attached to the supplied Micro 250 or any tripod. When mounted on the Micro 250 tripod, the GripTight mount can hold devices up to 8.8 ounces. When not in use, the Micro Stand folds up compactly to about the size of a car key. It even has a small hole by the tripod socket to insert a key ring, if desired.

Zinc Alloy Legs: The Micro 250's legs are made of strong coated zinc alloy. They rotate into place and provide a base that is approximately 3-7/8" in diameter and 3/4" high. The rubberized foot grips provide enhanced stability on difficult terrain. You can open the legs to hold the phone horizontally, or fold them up and use them as a "kick stand" to hold the phone vertically.

Adjustable Head: The Micro 250 has an integrated machined aluminum positioning ball head with a standard 1/4" thread. The mount gives you approximately 36° of tilt in any direction.
