Kicker's 09PK4 amplifier power wiring kit supplies everything you'll need to send power to an amplifier with a fuse rating of up to 100 amperes. Kicker makes the 4-gauge cable from oxygen free copper wire so you can count on maximum power transfer.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This is a great kit with everything you need to power you new amp. The quality of the materials is great. The packaging is simple and convenient. The wire is nice and heavy, but still VERY FLEXIBLE.

The grommet in the fuse block is not large enough to fit the insulated wire. It's an obvious oversight by the designers, and is the only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars. Otherwise it's a perfect kit.

Pros:

great materials, complete and convenient, easy to use

Cons:

a little pricey, fuse block grommets are too small.

The wiring kit

I purchased this because Kicker said it would give another year warranty if you used the wiring Kit. The terminals did not fit the fuse block and the striped wire would not go fuse block pressure screw hole until I removed the rubber grommet. I made it work but was not real please with how it went together. The wire was plenty long. I installed it on a 2002 Crew Cab Chevy and had more than enough wire.

Pros:

Got me some extra warranty and gave me the right amount of heavy guage wire and the right amperage fuse block for my truck.

Cons:

Terminals did not match Fuse block

I got a nice discount on this setup when purchased with an amp. The cable is very flexible which made routing it through my car very easy. I prefer this fuse system over the "older style." I just wish the ground cable was a bit longer, I'd rather trim off a little extra then have to splice more on.

Amazing, worth every dime.

So, I just got this kit today. The weight of it is enough to make you smile. You know you have some wires. First thing I noticed off the bat, was the fuse holder. It is heavy duty, very heavy, and has a ton of metal. It comes with the 100amp fuse, which is nice. The next thing you notice is the wire. They say flexible and they mean it. The connectors they provide are amazing quality, they are large and flat, meaning no worries about connection space. The tech flex they give you on the cable, makes it look incredible. It also means that wire is protected in the engine bay. Also, one last thing, for those who expect the fuse holder to be attached to the cable, think again.They give you exactly what you need, exactly great quality for an easy install. I would but this amp kit again I had to. The best part, is the decal they give, it is not cheap and you can flash off your kicker sense of style.
