Features
Overview: The Klipsch Image S4A in-ear headphones have been
designed specifically for Android. The Image S4A headphones merge the
functionality of your Android smarpthone with the sound of Klipsch.
Compatible with devices running Android 2.1 or later, the S4A headphone offers
push-button control for music and calls when you download the free Klipsch Control App
(from the Android Market). The Klipsch Image S4A in-ear headset offers premium sound for your music,
a comfortable fit for your ears, and control for your compatible Android
smarpthone.
Note: The Klispch Image S4A headphones require an Android mobile
device (2.1 or later) with the free Klispch Control App from the Android
Market.
Premium Sound: The Image S4A in-ear headphones deliver
realistic sound through the use of a single, moving coil micro-driver (or
mini-speaker) per channel. These drivers cover a wide frequency range
(10Hz-19kHz) with dynamic detail.
360° Mic Design: Unlike other headsets, the S4A positions
its mic and remote at the cable yoke to create a more natural feel when
answering calls and controlling music. The mic is a highly intelligible 360°
design with echo cancellation, so you will be heard crystal clear and will not
have to worry about the external noise around you.
Comfortable Fit: The Image S4A features angled housings for
proper in-ear alignment. The Klipsch Image S4A's exclusive soft and flexible
oval ear tips naturally fit the contours of your ear canals, providing
comfortable long-term wear. The Image S4A comes with
three different sizes of washable single-flange ear tips (S/M/L) and one pair of
dual-flange ear-tips.
Noise Isolation: The included ear tips provide a perfect acoustic seal
that minimizes outside noise, also known as noise isolation (up to -16dB), and
allows you to enjoy your music at lower, safer volumes.
Android Control: The Klipsch Control app offers
control of your Android smartphone's music and calls using the Image S4A
headphones. Simply download the
Klipsch Control App for Android on to your compatible Android smartphone
(2.1 or later) from the online Android Market for free. Once the app is
downloaded to your Android smartphone, the Klipsch S4A headphones offer the
following music, phone, and voice control.
- Music Control: Play/Pause, Track forward/backward, Volume up/down
- Phone Control: Answer/End calls, Mute microphone (not compatible with
all devices), Redial
- Voice Control: Voice search, Voice command
Note: The following music apps have been tested and compatibility confirmed: Google
Music, Amazon MP3, Pandora, Last.fm, Slacker (as of 12/30/2011, list subject to
change).
Incompatibility Note: Due to software conflicts, the Klipsch Control app is not fully
compatible with select Samsung phones (Galaxy S II family, Epic, 4G Touch, Captivate). The Klipsch S4A headset only supports voice control, call 'Answer' and 'End'
functionality for these mobile devices. Klipsch continues to work on an update to allow full
functionality on these devices.
51" Headphone Cable: The Image S4A in-ear headphones
features a durable 51" headphone cable with built-in strain relief. The
headphone cable has an adjustable cable-slider to prevent tangling.
Gold-Plated Connector: The Klipsch in-ear headphones
features a gold-plated, straight, male 3.5mm connector, so it works with any
portable device that features a standard 3.5mm headphone output.
Shirt-Clip: The S4A features a shirt-clip to keep the
in-line mic close to your chest when speaking.
Carrying Pouch: The Image S4A comes with a cloth "snap-tite"
carrying pouch to store the headphones when not in use.
