We have not received any answers from other customers on your question. I would recommend reaching out to an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They should be able to help answer your question.

Q
Will this work on BTA850FH powered sub?
free  Jan 21, 2021

A
Yes. As long as you have the same connections. I have mixed and matched these in the past.

Q
Could this be wired/used to control 1 BTA10100 AND 2 BTA8100's simultaneously?
mitchell  Sep 13, 2020
1 answer
A
This controller does not work on those powered subwoofers. The RBCM-100 will work on them. We have not tested to know if one controller can operate multiple subwoofers. The controller comes with cabling to connect it to one powered subwoofer. Here is the controller that works with the two subwoofers you listed: www.crutchfield.com/p_204RBCM100/item.html

Q
Will this work with an OLD BTA-10200 tube..?? The old remote was the RBCM-RS. Not much info out there on the electronic schematics of the two and if they differ.

A
If it has the phone jack I'm sure it would work as well as mine I don't notice a big difference it could be from the lack of instructions nothing came with except the cord and control box and mounting hardware. Good luck

Q
Do you have to turn the crossover and gain to the max on the tube after plugging in the remote?
michael  Jun 06, 2016
1 answer
A
I Didn't. And rarely do they need adjustment unless your sources vary greatly in dynamic range. My install is in a runabout and I get compliments often in party cove.

Q
Will this work same as a KCA-WR10 on Kenwood amp?
freddy  Nov 13, 2015
2 answers
A
I doubt it will work because the Kenwood remote actually lists using a RJ-11 connection (phone cord) while the connection on this cable is listed as looking the same but it does not have the same number of pins.
jason  Nov 16, 2015 (Staff)
A
Not sure but it looks like it has the same basic functions

Q
When using he remote for the bazooka tube, what are the settings (gain and Xover) on the bazooka tube itself or does the remote control everything?
paul.  Mar 03, 2014

A
My Bazooka tube had a set 80hz Xover inside no adjustment available. You would just be adjusting the gain with the remote. I usually set my gain at the Bazooka Tube and use the remote for fine tuning.

Once you have plugged in the remote, it allows you to change the settings when ever you like. With the remote, you don't have to mess with the setting on the bass tube. I bought mine in July and it is one of the best subs on the market!
