Perfect for a my Jeep Wrangler

Needed to add a little more base to my jeep but didnt want to spend alot of money or give up to much space. This unit fits perfectly under the back seat of my 97' Wrangler and adds just enough base. Very easy to mount and connect took less than an hour.

just installed this in my 06 gmc sierra p/u. i have the 7 speaker bose system that has it's own sub in the center consol that you can't hear. i hooked it up using the speaker level inputs & wired in to the right rear speaker at the door this produced very little base.. bose has a built in x-over that sends all the base to the sub in the center consol. i could not even see the factory sub as it is burried in wires & a/c parts. so i took the back off my center consol & found the wiring comming out of thr factory amp & wired up my new sub to the 2 wires that go to the factory sub. WOW what a difference this thing came alive i had to turn the gain control down to 40% this little sub is well worth the money.....

Just what I needed!

I just got through with the install. Others were right about the noise and
needing a filter, good heads up guys. Other than that, this unit is just
what I needed. More response at 40 hz than I was expecting thats for
sure. I installed it in a 99' Jeep Wrangler. I don't know how anyone would
expect to install it under either of the front seats. Fits just perfect under
my roll and tumble. On one had keeps it well protected, but on the other
hand it is in the middle of the floor board when the back seat is removed.
But I have a truck for carring stuff, just keep that in mind. But what a nice
piece of equipment added to my Pioneer DEH-P5000UB head unit, Alpine
SPS-406 4"x6" 2 way speakers, and Kenwood KFC-1382ie 5-1/4" 3-way!

Not as easy to install as claimed

This unit is a very good sounding unit for being so small and relatively under-powered at 70 watts RMS. I reccomend it for anyone who has a small car or truck (as I do, a Toyota Tacoma standard cab) with little space to install a full SUB (10 inch and up) w/enclosure. However I must say that installing this is not as easy as it is made out to be. Car dash boards these days are designed to hide all wiring as much as possible. So, finding the correct wires out of your HU through the maze of wiring harnesses is not going to be easy (unless you are a pro car stereo installer by trade). Also, I was told by the pro installer I got to do the job that one should not hook this up to the speaker wires by tapping into them as that will reduce the efficiency and quality of the sound coming from the SUB. One should use RCA jacks to have the HU truly be able to shunt off the lower freqs to this unit. So, buy it if you need a compact SUB solution where nothing else will work. But, do yourself a favor and don't believe the hype that it is "easy" for you to install yourself.

I just installed this the other day with my new Nav head unit and it sounds
great. Just the right amount of punch. And it is discreetly placed under my
backseat. I cant believe this product has been discontinued.
