Features

Compatibility: This Stereo 'Y' cable can be used for the following applications:

  • Portable Players: Use this cable to connect a portable audio player (CD, cassette, MP3, MiniDisc) for playback on a home receiver.
  • Recording: With this cable, you can connect your portable CD, MP3 or MiniDisc player to the stereo inputs on a home cassette recorder for dubbing. You can also feed a stereo signal from a receiver's line output or aux output to a portable recording device.
  • Powered Speakers: This cable can also provide a signal from a component (CD, DVD, Cassette) to the input of a powered speaker system.

Construction: The adapter features a single male 3.5mm mini-plug on one end and dual male RCA plugs on the other end, each with molded connectors and flexible stress relief collars.

If I had an expensive cable to compare this with, I don' t think I could tell the difference. I use it to connect my iPhone to my car and don't hear any noise or feedback when on phone calls

Bought this cable to connect my SkiFi2 to the AUX input of my Panasonic MXE CQ-C7203U head unit. While it sounds much better than FM transmitting, I do hear some interference during acceleration. I would recommend finding a cable with better shielding.

No room to charge iPod Nano

The cable works great with our iPod (Nano 4G), BUT you can't charge the iPod at the same time. The problem is that the mini connector's housing is fatter than the earbud's mini connector housing, and does not leave enough room for you to also connect the usual USB cable or a charger to the iPod's main port.

I ordered this to use with my blaupunkt aux cable and the cord went to crap after about a week of use. The wires were loose inside the cord, I had to bend the cord a certain way to get the cord to work...maybe it was the brand of cable... I'm not sure

I recently bought the PAC Sony Unilink adapter Auxiliary input turn on from crutchfield to hook my I-pod up to my 2000 sony cd player. Not knowing if the PAC would work, I ordered this cable along with it (ignoring the other reviews stating that the cable was not very good), as I would not be out much if the PAC didn't work. Fortunately, the PAC worked. Unfortunately, this cable is terrible. Out of the box, there was a scratching sound and I had to play with the cord near the 3.5 mm end to get both sound channels. At times the sound completely cuts out. I never thought I would return anything I only paid $5 for, but in this case I plan on doing so. Bottom line - don't waste your money - get a better cable from the start.

My cord lasted about a month before it broke. The connection wasnt great in the first place and after a few weeks of use it completely feel apart. I'd suggest wires with better shielding and gold-plated connectors.

Worked for three days with my Aux input on my 2005 Mustang. Then the cable lost its internal connection and only allowed the right side speakers to play. The left played as well IF you dont mind pinching the cable.. Now I'm going to have to open up the entire dash again and replace with a Monster Cable.
