Q
Will this fit an AT-LP60X turntable?
robert  Sep 11, 2023
1 answer
A
This Audio-Technica VM520EB will not fit, Robert. If you need a replacement stylus for your AT-LP60XBT or BT-USB turntable the ATN3600L in the link below is a direct replacement for the original! Due to the design of the headshell and tonearm on the AT-LP60X, you cannot swap to upgraded cartridges like the VM520EB. I hope this helps!

Q
Would this cartridge fit on my project belt driven turntable ?
david  Jun 03, 2023
1 answer
A
This depends on your specific model Pro-ject turntable to confirm David, but this Audio-Technica VM520EB is compatible with every Pro-ject deck we currently stock, good news! With the dual magnet pickup the stereo separation on this cartridge is outstanding, a great upgrade or refurb on your current unit that should work well with your turntable!

Q
will this cartridge fit on Denon DP-29F?
tom  Dec 17, 2022
1 answer
A
This will not fit the Denon DP-29 turntable sadly, Tom. The stylus (needle) can be replaced on the DP-29F but the cartridge is permanently attached. Because of this you cannot buy a different cartridge for the Denon DP-29F turntable. This is normal on turntables with factory preset tracking weight that don't require balancing the tonearm. Any gear purchased that simply does not fit can be returned within our 60-day satisfaction guarantee. I hope this helps Tom!

Q
Will this cartridge work on the Technics SL-1200MK2?
jeff  Nov 29, 2022
1 answer
A
I see no reason why not, Jeff! This VM520EB is a great choice sonically, and it can mount easily to your existing headshell on your legendary Technics SL-1200MK2. You can even hit the easy button and choose the pre-mounted version in the link below. This comes with an alternate headshell, so you just screw it onto your tone arm, set the tracking weight, and listen away! https://www.crutchfield.com/p_057VM520H/Audio-Technica-VM520EB-H.html

Q
Willthis cartridge work on a Onkyo CP-1017A turntable?
john  Sep 05, 2022
1 answer
A
We do not have any information on the Onkyo CP-1017A turntable to check if this can fit it. Also, online searches have not helped provide the information necessary to check the turntable. We do know that this can work on turntables that have the standard 1/2" mount for cartridges.

I've got a VM520EB on my Thorens TD165, which isn't as nice as your TD145. Sounds great on my TD165!

Worked terrifically in my TD318 after balance adjustment. If terminals and connections are suitable for your tone arm it should work for you.

Will it work for a dual 1219?

I use it on a Denon DP-400, so it may work on your Dual 1219 if it is not too old. W. Lopez

Yes this works very well with my audio technica turntable and brings out nuances of sounds in my 50 plus year old vinyl that I have never heard before. I would purchase this product again.

Q
My Denon DP-DJ101 has a Shure M97x cartridge that needs replacing. Can you recommend a cart compatible with this table?
kurt  Aug 05, 2020
3 answers
A
I have a Phillips 212 turntable that I purchased with my system some 40+ years ago. I believe the original cartridge was a Shure. After some 15 years I changed out the cartridge to an Audio Technica. At the time it sounded pretty much the same as my original cartridge. I didn't play it much when CD's came along with much better sound quality. Later, I developed a grounding noise and initially thought it was in the cartridge so I purchased another Audio Technica VM520EB. I found out the grounding noise was actually in the RCA cables from the turntable itself. After eliminating the noise I played records using the new VM520EB cartridge that I had already installed and then replaced it with the old Audio Technica cartridge. The old cartridge sounded slightly better throughout the sound spectrum. The VM520EB is a close second. Hope that helps!

Crutchfield reminded me that I purchased a ATVM520EB back in 10/2018. I installed it on my Kenwood KD-2055 turntable and it works fine. I can't give you much of a rating on sound quality because I need new, upgraded speakers. However I have NO complaints on the sound quality. It fit my price range and as I said it plays well.

My AT520EB delivers good chrisp sound and was most reasonably priced versus several other cartridges I looked at. I highly recommend!

Q
Will this work with the Fluance RT-81 turntable?
rob  Apr 17, 2018

A
Sorry I don't know
kenneth  Apr 18, 2018
A
My AT vm520eb cartridge has been used on a traditional turntable (an AR vintage 1978 model) and worked really well. Of course the installation was done carefully with such small screws and wiring. In addition, it also work very well with a newer turntable that has the attachmen to the tone arm. But again, I had to attached it carefully before inserting the unit into tone arm of the newer turntable. I am not sure why the cartridge would not fit your turn table...unless the specs of the Fluance indicates otherwise.
