General Features
2-Step Motorized Display:
In its normal state, the
2.5" TFT LCD monitor and
head unit controls reside in a
DIN-sized face plate area. When the open button is pressed, the face plate
motorizes in a slide down motion to reveal a dot matrix display.
Display Tilt Adjustment: The
motorized 2.5" TFT
LCD monitor can be adjusted to any
angle between flat and 45°.
iPlug: This unit features the
iPlug, a 39" interface cable that connects a portable MP3 player (such as an
iPod), or other portable audio source unit, to the receiver's auxiliary input.
The iPlug has a dash-mountable 3.5mm female minijack that can be attached using
the supplied adhesive pad or self-tapping screws.
MP3/WMA Playback:
This unit can play MP3 and WMA
files that have been recorded with constant bit rate (MP3: 40 to 320 kbps/WMA:
40-192 kbps) or variable bit rate compression on CD-R and CD-RW discs. The disc
must be in one of the following formats: ISO 9660 level 1 or level 2, or Yellow
Book MODE 1 or MODE 2 FORM 1.
Discs should be recorded
with a maximum of 199 folders and files and 8 folder levels.
This
unit is not compatible with MP3/WMA ID3 Tag information.
Skip Protection: An internal
buffer provides ESP (electronic skip protection) to virtually eliminate
skipping. The ESP is for MP3/WMA files only.
Preset EQ Curves: You can
choose from five preset curves: Pop, Jazz, Classic, Beat and Rock. Any
adjustment to the bass or treble settings automatically cancels the current EQ
curve.
Selectable
Bass and Treble Cut-off Frequencies:
The cut-off frequencies for the bass and treble controls can be set
independently.
The bass cut-off
frequency can be set to 60Hz, 80Hz, 100Hz or 200Hz. You can also set the Bass
Q-Factor to 1, 1.25, 1.5, or 2. The treble cut-off frequency can be set to
10kHz, 12.5kHz, 15kHz or 17.5kHz. The bass and treble controls have an
adjustment range of -6 to +6.
Source Audio Memory: Individual
bass and treble settings are retained in memory for AM, FM, DVD, and AUX modes.
Turn-on Volume: You can preset
the unit's volume when it is powered on. Each time the unit is turned on, the
volume is reset to the preset level regardless of the volume level when the unit
was last turned off.
Optional Rear View Camera: The
XDVD8130 allows you to connect an optional rear view camera. When reverse gear
is selected, video from the rear view camera is automatically displayed on the
monitor.
Note: For this feature
to work, the reverse lamp lead must be connected.
Optional Navigation System: The
XDVD8130 can control the optional Dual XNAV9525 navigation system.
