Eclipse Integrated Series speakers can help bring the music back to life in your car. Eclipse uses superior materials to build speakers that not only handle lots of power, but sound great doing it. These speakers make a good choice for anyone who wants to improve sound quality without spending a lot of cash.

The Eclipse SE6500 6-1/2" speakers feature a 3-way design that does a great job of covering your music's full frequency range. The mica-polypropylene woofer is supported by a tough butyl rubber surround, so it'll deliver strong performance over the long haul. The Mylar dome tweeter and supertweeter reproduce high frequencies well above normal hearing, sharpening the details in your instrumental and vocal soundstage. Compact, strong neodymium magnets drive the supertweeters and tweeters efficiently so your upper frequencies will have no problem keeping up with the bass.

Features

Woofers: Each speaker features a Hybrid Mica Filled Polypropylene cone woofer with a Ferrite magnet for rigidity under intense power, ensuring distortion free performance for years.

Surrounds: The butyl rubber surround allows linear cone excursion and dampens cone resonance for undistorted dynamic peaks and clarity at all levels.

Voice Coil: The speaker's Kapton voice coil former handles a large amount of heat without deforming.

Tweeters: Each speaker uses a 1" Mylar dome tweeter for accurate high frequency reproduction.

Super Tweeters: Each speaker also has a 3/4" Mylar dome super tweeter to accommodate the extended frequency response of digital audio and to provide superior treble reproduction. The super tweeter features a neodymium magnet which helps improve speaker efficiency.

Tweeter Protection: A solid state device protects the speaker system from power overloads. This device will momentarily shut down the tweeter circuit and will automatically reset when the condition normalizes.

Bought these for my sons first car to mate up with a low end kenwood receiver and was surprised at how good they sound. Doubt you will find a better sounding set of speakers for the price. I have bought infinity speakers in the past, and think these sound just as good if not better than the Kappa's I last bought. Ohh and the S10 speaker adapters that were free from crutchfield worked great, wondered how if it was going to come with the correct adapters, it didnt have door speakers before. So if you have a late 90's s10 or hombre, these worked out great for us.

These speakers were on sale and made the upgrade in my Camry complete. I power
these with the Eclipse CD5030 head unit and bought the Eclipse SE6900 speakers
for the rear. Couldn't be happier with the sound on all types of music and talk
radio. Great sound despite my car's speaker location near the floor. Love these
speakers. Buy these - you will not be sorry.

I have owned other Eclipse products before, They are in my opinion very high end products.
When I saw the low price on these speakers, I decided to get them for my work van.
Installing them were easy with the Crutchfield gear, Under ten minutes.
I broke in the speakers @ about quarter volume for half hour, Then half volume @ one hour, And gave them a rest for a night.
The following morning I fired them up @ half volume and adjusted the tone controls on the radio, I was really surprised @ the vocals on these speakers for this price blew away my MeBe SLK with $2000.00+ in amps & speakers.
I used a Sony MEX-BT2700 to power them and the internal HPF @ 100 HZ to block out the lower bass portion.
These speakers are loud and clear, There was no audible clipping at max volumes.
Best sounding vocals I've had in a long time, Comparable vocals to Focal, JL.
I may add a cap between100UF and 500UF in the future to tweak the sound a little.
Overall this speaker is worth double the price.

I purchased these speakers on the recomendation of Crutchfield to replace a competitors speaker that did not sound good to me. I was not familiar with Eclipse
and bought them on good faith. I was NOT dissapointed! These speakers are efficient,
play bass with authority and sound smooth and detailed. I am driving them with a
JVC head unit with 20 watts RMS per channel and they sound like they have a power amp driving them. They blend perfectly with the factory tweeters in the door sails.
I could not be happier. Guess what? They cost $10. less per pair than the speakers they replaced. What more could I ask.

GREAT speaker for the money!

These speakers are installed in my '92 Accord. I was looking for a good sounding, affordable speaker to install in the rear deck. Decided to give these a try after reading the reviews for the traditional speakers. WOW! I'm impressed. GREAT highs! Nothing harsh and they don't distort at high volumes. Bass is pretty impressive, too! I am powering these with a modest Sony CDX-GT420IP HU. couldn't be happier. I also have Alpine SPS-600's up front and they sound VERY close to these!
Get them if you are looking for a good speaker for half the price! If I weren't planning to amp the front speakers, I would've got another set for the front!

Great budget friendly speakers

I've dealt with Crutchfield for years and they are the BEST. I just got these for my 2007
Galant. They sound great. The vocals are very clear. I installed them in the rear deck and
in the front doors. I had to call for a little help with the front doors, but tech support was
great as always. They had me going in no time. I'm planning on buying a cd player next
and I can't wait to see how they sound then.

First I would like to thank Crutchfield for the great advice and excellent customer support. I called Tech support on Moday Morning asking them to help me pick out a set of speakers for my Toyota 4Runner. I told the service Rep that I relly dont know much about speakers, but I want a clean, full, rich sound from my JVC head unit. I was confused about if I should go with component systen like the Factory, or just some 3 ways and save money. The rep explained to me that I could still use my Factory tweeters and still use the new speakers. He told me about the Eclipse speakers and said they would sound great, and he is right!! They sound really good!! And I recieved them in 1 Day and only paid $6 for shipping, also recieved a Great harness for free to ease install, and detailed instructions for MY VECHILE, not generic instructions!!! I think Crutchfield Customer service is second to none, and the little things they give you to help are great. This was my first purchase from them, but wont be my last. I am going to order a set of eclipse speakers for my other car. These speakers are the best bang for the buck ANYWHERE!!!

Very nice set of speakers at a great price. Used these to replace factory speakers in a 2004 Honda Accord. Sound good.

The mounting bracket sent with these speakers was marginal at best. It was difficult to find an orientation that would allow the speaker to fit snuggly against the door. Hopefully they won't work themselves loose. I was hoping for a bracket that would make the installation easier. I got them in nonetheless. Maybe Crutchfield can work on a Honda specific bracket - I know I'm not the only one out there driving an Accord that would like to upgrade their factory system a little.

I bought these as stock replacements, not expecting anything fancy. I am pleasantly surprised by the clarity of the sound - mids and highs sound great and you can't beat the price. The bass won't rattle your windows, but if you are shopping in this price range then this shouldn't be a surprise.

My next purchase will be a sub to fill in the bottom end, but I'm plenty happy with these speakers for now. An excellent upgrade to my stock system.
