A 24-bit digital-to-analog converter brings new realism and clarity to your music, while the JVC's amplifier really kicks out the jams. The 3-band parametric equalizer gives you the tools to get your music sounding great in your vehicle.

Sources and connections
The front-panel USB input lets you connect and control your iPod®, so you can browse your songs and playlists using the KD-R600's controls. And JVC gives you a choice — if you prefer, you can activate the iPod's controls so your passengers can pick the tunes. Either way, your song info will show up on the receiver's display.

And it'll play your other sources, too. This versatile JVC will handle all your storebought CDs, as well as discs or or thumb drives you've loaded with MP3 and WMA files. You can connect a portable satellite radio to the auxiliary input, or permanently install a JVC satellite radio tuner. The KD-R600 also works with JVC's multi-disc CD changer, HD Radio™ tuner, and Bluetooth® adapter for even greater flexibility.

Adding bass to your system?
A set of 2.5-volt preamp outputs lets you add an amp or a powered sub to your system. You can switch the outputs to subwoofer mode to activate a selectable low-pass filter, and JVC builds in a subwoofer level control so you can dial in just the right amount of bass.
