Kenwood CA-C1AUX
Written By Khamkou, Milwaukee, WI on Tuesday, April 14, 2009

Great product. I used an FM transmitter for playing my mp3 player, and the sound quality wasn't too good. No highs and to much lows. When I added this to my head deck. It was music to my ears. :D Two thumbs up.

Great, but...
Written By Dave, Savannah, GA on Thursday, January 29, 2009

Functionally, this works great. Unfortunately, the connector is oriented upwards when attached to the receiver. This causes space problems behind the receiver, especially if space is tight already. There is no room for the tight bend the cable must make right away, since it has to bend 90 degrees to point out behind the receiver, then another bend to point in whatever direction your installation requires. Make sure it isn't riding against anything that moves or it'll chafe away the insulation!

Great for "Line In" Electronics
Written By Charlotte, CO on Saturday, April 26, 2008

I tried to use this to connect my circa 1995 Sony 10 disc changer directly to
a Kenwood KDC-MP338 rather than running it through the old FM
transmitter. Unfortunately, the changer must have a small amplifier in it
because the input signal was severely over-amplified, which greatly
distorted the sound.

This is an awsome way to add an auxiliary input to the rear of a Kenwood
stereo, but just make sure that what you're sending into the stereo is at a
standard "line in" amplitude (i.e. mp3 players, etc.)
