Performance Series speakers use long-lasting materials to give you great sound — exactly what you'd expect from Kenwood. Image Enhancer technology surrounds the midrange drivers and tweeters with a smooth rounded surface that eliminates reflected sound waves. The resulting improved dispersion pattern reduces distortion and creates superior clarity.
Kenwood's KFC-C6882ie 3-way 6"x8" speakers use a mica/polypropylene woofer cone strengthened with fibers so it's tough, yet light. The fiber-textured cone's irregular surface helps diffuse vibrations and produce a more natural sound. The large rubber surround promotes higher accuracy and added durability.
The 3-way design generates full-bodied bass from the woofer, complemented by a midrange and tweeter for warm, textured mids and pleasing highs. You'll hear well-balanced reproduction of your music, from the splash of a cymbal to the low tones of an electric bass. Grilles are not included — factory grilles are appropriate for most installations.
