Bottom Line -- "THIS PRODUCT DOES EXACTLY AS ADVERTISED" I installed this product with the Kenwood DNX9980HD inside a 2008 Toyota Sequoia. Prior to installation I did a lot of listening to other customers that had this product via web posts in multiple forums. For Instance 2011 model Kenwood radios use a firmware similar to JVC's so the ASWC will recognize the radio as a JVC. To correct this use a 12K ohm resistor between the brown wire of the ASWC and the blue/yellow SWC wire from the kenwood deck. Run the auto program sequence, all of 15 seconds, get a solid red light on the device. Remove the 12K ohm resistor and reconnect the brown wire to Kenwoods blue/yellow and Lo and behold I have full SWC controls... illumination on SWC buttons, Vol up, Vol down, mode, seek up, seek down, etc. I must say I am 100% satisfied with this product, the total set up took about 15 min. For Toyota vehicles Metra makes an adapter for the ASWC so you dont have to cut any steering wheel control wires and the stock number is 70-8114. You can google Metra 70-8114 and find it pretty easily. No lag or delay between button push and response by the radio. SWC just as responsive as factory radio set up.
