The TS-A643P 6-1/2" speakers feature an injection-molded polypropylene woofer reinforced with basalt, graphite, and Aramid fibers so it keeps its shape when you're driving it hard. The rubber surround keeps the cone moving smoothly when the volume is cranked so the bass stays strong and tight.
Pioneer uses a 3/4" dome midrange driver for faster, more accurate reproduction of instruments and vocals. A soft dome tweeter and supertweeter deliver bright, sparkling treble, letting you experience all the overtones that bring ambiance to your music. Features
Woofers: The Pioneer Premier TS-A643P speakers feature an IMPP (Injection Molded Polypropylene) cone woofer interlaced with carbon graphite, basalt, and long aramid fibers. This IMPP cone design provides the strength and rigidity that powerful bass requires. The high-density, compressed internal architecture is resilient and transfers sound very quickly. The result is full-bodied, rich sound.
Surrounds: For durability and a smooth response, each woofer uses a lightweight elastic polymer surround.
Magnet/Voice Coils: Each woofer features an 11-ounce Strontium magnet with heat-resistant polyester-imide resin coated voice coil wires. This allows the voice coil to handle more heat, improving input power handling as well as reliability.
Midranges: Each speaker has a 3/4" lightweight diaphragm dome midrange for fast, accurate response with low distortion. The midrange has a 0.2 ounce neodymium magnet and magnetic cooling fluid.
Tweeters: Each speaker uses a 3/8" dome tweeter and 3/8" dome super tweeter made from PET silver film for crisp, clear highs.
Mounting: The speakers can be mounted in standard 6-1/2" openings, 4-hole 6-1/2" openings, or 6-3/4" openings.
Warranty Note: The included warranty card indicates a 1 year parts and labor warranty for Premier brand loudspeakers. The warranty is extended to 3 years if the speakers are installed by a Pioneer Premier dealer. However, Pioneer has extended the warranty to 3 years for all Premier brand speakers purchased from Crutchfield, regardless of who installs them.

For the price, these little speakers really deliver. A huge step up from the factory speakers in my subaroo, they really bring our the highs and lows of the music - decent stereo seperation too. Real easy to install!! Highly recommended.
