Features

Compatibility: The OEA-4 (model C4NN03) is a non-electronic interface that allows an aftermarket high-power stereo to integrate into select 1994-up Nissan and Infiniti vehicles with Bose premium factory systems. Please check the Crutchfield Vehicle Selector for compatibility for your vehicle.

Adjustment Gain Controls: Four rotary gain controls (front left, front right, rear left, rear right) are located recessed inside the adapter chassis. There is a small flat-blade screwdriver attached to the adapter's case, and its use is recommended. The controls are very fragile and sensitive, and a slight adjustment will change volume dramatically.

Harnesses: The adapter's input wires are approximately 5-1/2" long with bare ends. These splice to the new receiver's speaker output wires. The adapter's output wires are approximately 11" long and terminate into two white and black rectangular Molex plugs. There are 5 additional wires coming from one of the white/black plugs and 2 wires from the other white/black plug that should be spliced to the receiver's wiring harness. The Molex plug ends are molded to match with the factory wiring harnesses. Crimp caps are provided for wire splices.

Good, but missing steps

Written By Tom, PA on Friday, February 03, 2012

The product works great, however, the instructions for the product left out directions for one of the wires. I had to call Scosche to find out what to do. (Nissan Pathfinder LE)
Pros:
Works once everything is set up
Cons:
incomplete installation directions for a Nissan Pathfinder LE

Very poor construction

Written By , pittsburgh pa on Sunday, October 16, 2011

Out of the package, one wire was crimped through the insulation. I was able to tape this. After connecting the adaptor and adjusting the gain, the first potentiometer actually fell apart when I touched it with a screw driver. The other three gains did adjust and the adapter does seem to work. Very poor construction for an electronic device.

Works

95 Maxima, works as describe. Very easy install. IS not has cheap as others have said, put it in and adjusted the gain and worked perfectly. I would not try and strong arm it, but normal pressure is fine.

Easy install, directions need help

Written By Steve M., Phoenix, AZ on Saturday, July 02, 2011

Installing the new Kenwood KDC-348U in my wife's Infiniti QX4 was fairly easy with this adapter. All of the Kenwood wires matched the color coding of this Scosche-brand adapter. The only real issue I had was connecting the power antenna control, which required splicing 2 wires from the radio harness to one wire from the adapter harness - not covered in either the radio's or the adapter's documentation - fortunately, it only took one call to Crutchfield's excellent tech support to work through it.

Nissan/Infiniti Factory Integration Adapter

Written By Maximaaaa, Oregon on Thursday, May 12, 2011

It does work well, the amp sounds pretty good with it. However, as stated by many others, the knobs are HORRIBLY designed. Right out of the box one of them was broken and fell out. If someone is thinking of purchasing this, I would recommend going with something else(if there is) since the knobs are cheap.

This made the install of my new sony hu a snap! solder the leads to the hu
interface, plug in and done!

It is a must have if you have the factory bose like I did. I had one small issue which
a call to support fixed in literally 30 seconds.

Works

Written By PM, LA, CA on Saturday, April 02, 2011

Product comes with all the connects you need. My system required black to
B&W ground connection which is the only thing that I would not of guessed - all
other installation steps you won't even need instructions for - it's all pretty
obvious.

I'm not sure the ohm conversion that takes place is the only requirement that
needs
to be addressed. The new stereo works fine but the overall sound is not the
quality is not quite up to the previous Bose system that I had. This could be
because of the new stereo or it could be partially because of the Scosche - I
don't know.

They sure make it easy and painless to install. The same device elsewhere
costs much more.

BE CAREFUL WITH GAIN KNOBS!!!!!

Written By Jonny, Texas on Monday, March 28, 2011

Sounds great. A previous "professional" installation they didn't know to use one of these. Sounded terrible for years. Crutchfield told me I needed one. New receiver sounds great. When I was adjusting volume, a gain knob broke off. I didn't want to wait on replacement, so I used a pocket knife to adjust that pot. Be VERY CAREFUL with gain knobs!!!! Once I worked through that, it worked great, though. Thanks, Crutchfield for getting me this part at a reasonable price.

Nissan/Infiniti Factory Integration Adapter

Written By GMK, Hilo, HI on Friday, November 12, 2010

Made installing my Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD in my '02 Altima a snap. However, the
instructions are too generic. There are 2 harness connectors to the OEM dash but the
instructions implied there was only one harness. This resulted in having 2 wires to
factory remote amp. For the 02 Altima with premium Bose system, you must use
the BLUE/WHITE wire and not the Blue wire. Also recommend using butt connectors to
join wires rather than the stuff provided so you can have a neater bundle of wires.
