This wiring kit does not include speaker wire, so you'll need to purchase that separately to complete your amp installation. This kit includes patch cables for a 2-channel or mono amp — you'll need to add cables for multi-channel amps.

The Sound Ordnance B-8P was my first purchase from Crutchfield so I didn't know what to expect from the free wiring kit. Usually I toss the wiring kits and make my own but this one was a nice surprise. The quality was as good as anything I could pick up locally.

Pros:

Good build quality. Had 2 extra feet of cable after getting the cables to the trunk ('02 Subaru Legacy sedan).

Fuse holder broke as soon as we opened package, opted for a more durable one instead. RCA cables worked ok though.

Perfect wiring solution!

I have never understood why alot of people thought you had to spend big bucks on an amplifier wiring kit. Componants of these kits are fairly general and not alot of real differences. Cable is cable. The fuse junction and RCA patch cables are really the only thing that you do not want to skimp on. This kit was perfect for my amplifier install, with enough cable to reach the entire length of my vehicle, and with the braided patch cables and covered fuse block, did just what I expected. It simplified the installation, and where it is visible on the vehicle (engine compartment and truck at the amp) it looks good.

I got this kit free when I purchased a powered sub. It really came in handy. If I had to go out and buy the pieces separately, I would have never know what to get or where to get them.

pretty nice for free

I got this wire kit with the Powered Sub. Not a bad kit and for free very good deal. The lenght run was perfect from the trunk to the engine battery (cut off about 12" extra). Nice gauge and everything was included. One comment the terminal ends are pretty cheap. I replaced them with my own and I think you should do the same. 5 mins extra to crimp and well worth it, especially if the stock ones breaks, which they did for me.

Pros:

Very good for free, perfect for low powered subs. Length was good.

Cons:

Cheap Wire terminals that will break. But again its not a $200 wire set.
