Features Overview: Scosche's Bluetooth wireless headphones are static free and receive pure digital CD quality sound from your iPod or MP3 player up to 30 feet away, feature 4 hours of rechargeable battery life, and can answer your phone too. When your Bluetooth cell phone rings the system will mute your music and answer your call. The built-in microphone allows you to take your call without even touching your phone, then goes right back to the music after you hang up. This kit includes the following: wireless headphones, small iPod/MP3 transmitter, built-in hands free microphone, and charging cable. Note: The transmitter is Bluetooth 1.2 compliant. Because the Apple iPhone does not support transmission of Bluetooth wireless music audio (A2DP) this unit is not compatible with the iPhone. Connections: The transmitter plugs into the headphone output of your iPod or MP3 player. Once the transmitter and wireless headphones are paired, the transmitter sends the audio to the headphones. Using the supplied mini-to-standard plug adapter, you can plug the transmitter into the headphone output on your home receiver. Input/Output Switch: The headphones have a minijack input/output, which is controlled by the adjacent switch. When the switch is in the input position, the headphones operate normally. You can even hardwire the headphones to your MP3 player using the supplied adapter cable. When the switch is in the output position, you can send audio from the transmitter to the headphones, and from the headphones to a second component. The minijack on the headphones can be wired to a component with an auxiliary input (minijack or stereo RCA) using the supplied adapters. Skins: This kit includes two skins, one for the 30/60 GB iPod and one for the iPod nano. Each skin has a built-in pocket for the transmitter. AC Adapter: The AC wall adapter and USB/Home charging cable allows you to charge the transmitter and headphones at the same time. I used them probably 15 hours a week for about a year and a half. Then one day they wouldn't sync up, I'm assuming its the transmitter on the headphone since it wouldnt sync with my cell phone either. Great product, but I wish it would last longer. Averaged out to $3 per week. I think I'm just going to get an iPod and keep it in my pocket in the future. Was this review helpful? Yes | No 1 out of 5 Very Disapointed Written By LEAH, Corrales, NM on Saturday, August 25, 2007 Initially thought this would be a great product that could be used with my Nexus 50 XM radio, my blue cell phone and my home Yamaha receiver without aving to deal with wires. They worked less than 24 hours after charging before they would not turn on ever again. Found them to be inflexible as to storage, nor did they have any storage case and I could not find one available for this product. I returned them for a set of Bose headphones with just 1 wire to contend with, forget the wireless idea! 2 out of 5 people found this helpful Was this review helpful? Written By Melvin, Bronx, New York on Monday, January 15, 2007 This is my second Scosche Bluelife product (home receiver and transmitter) and they're both easy to use, very convenient and sound quality is great when used with my ipod. The transmitter (plugs into ipod or other mp3) is very small. Smaller than picture indicates. Connection is quick. Headphones performance is A+. Great overall package if you enjoy listening to music on the go without the hassle of cable. I really like these new Scosche Bluelife products. Would highly recommend. 17 out of 17 people found this helpful Was this review helpful?
