Replace the cheap eabuds that came with your portable player with a high-quality pair, and discover more detail in your music. Or choose a set of full-sized 'phones for rocking out at home. Noise-canceling models use built-in microphones to pick up background sound and then cancel it out electronically. The Sennheiser CX 400 earbud headphones deliver great sound from your portable player, with plenty of bass and clean, transparent highs. And the CX 400's comfortable, in-the-ear design minimizes external noise, so you can listen to your music at lower volume levels. The headphones come with three different sizes of earbud sleeves, to ensure a good fit in your ears. These soft, flexible sleeves hold the earbuds securely in place, no matter how active you are. The headphones come with a detachable extension cord, so you can choose either the short cable for use with an armband player, or the longer cable. A provided cable clip keeps the cord from getting in the way. The cable winder prevents tangles when you store the headphones in the supplied carry bag. They feature a short cable, perfect for use with mobile phones or MP3 players that have a remote-control and/or microphone. With the included 44" extension cable the CX 400 can also be used with an MP3 player carried in your pocket. Sound Isolating Technology: The CX400's in ear design works like an earplug to attenuate ambient noise. This enables you to listen at lower volumes even in loud environments. Cord: The earphones have an attached 26" cord terminated by a gold-plated male 3.5mm connector. The headphones also come with a 44" extension cable which features a right-angle male 3.5mm gold-plated connector. The soft flexible rings gently contour to the inside of your ear to create a comfortable, secure fit and won't fall out when you move. Three sizes of soft rubber ear-fit rings are supplied with the earphones: small, medium (installed), and large. Carrying Pouch and Cable Winder: The MX 760 comes supplied with a silicone cable winder for easy cable length adjustment and comes with a vinyl carrying pouch for convenient handling and storage. The length of the cord is odd; the cord directly attached to the earphones is too short to do anything with and after adding the extention, it's much too long. Overall though, great sound and even though they are ear buds, the external sound dampening is apparent. 25 out of 29 people found this helpful Was this review helpful?
