Let's be honest: tire pressure's a pretty big deal for motorcycle riders. Garmin's Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor works with your zumo navigator to let you track your tire pressure. You'll need one sensor for each tire on your motorcycle or ATV, and your zumo will track up to four tires in any configuration. The sensor is not designed for automotive use or for tires with non-metal valve stems.

Just pair the sensor with your zumo, then screw the sensor onto your tire's metal valve stem. ANT wireless technology lets you see each sensor reading on your zumo's screen as you ride. You can set custom pressure thresholds and have the navigator alert you when the pressure changes. You can even track pressure trends over time, so you can spot a slow leak before it becomes a bigger problem.
The sensor is powered by a single replaceable battery with up to 18 months of life. Battery life is preserved when you're not rolling, and the sensor engages when your bike starts to move.

Overview: The Garmin Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor (TPMS) lets you monitor your motorcycle's tire pressure as you travel. The sensor transmits the tire's air pressure wirelessly to the zūmo navigation device (zūmo 390LM, zūmo 395LM, zūmo 590LM, or zūmo 595LM). One TPMS sensor is required for each tire (sold individually), and should be used with metal valve stems only.
ANT Network: The Garmin Tire Pressure Monitor System operates on ANT technology, a proprietary wireless sensor network that operates in the ISM (industrial, scientific, and medical) band of the 2.4 GHz spectrum. Each sensor transmits the tire pressure data wirelessly to the zūmo unit, where it is displayed in real time. Transmitting range is approximately 6.6 feet.
Configuration: The Tire Pressure Monitor System works with up to 4 tires in any configuration. There are four numbered stickers included with the sensor to affix to the sensor cap to identify the tire being monitored. In the menu of the zūmo, you can choose from the following vehicle types: 2-wheeled motorcycle, 3-wheeled motorcycle (1 front, 2 rear), 3-wheeled motorcycle (2 front, 1 rear), 3 wheels (motorcycle with sidecar), or 4 wheels (2 front, 2 rear).
Pairing With zūmo Device: Prior to traveling, you will need to set up the monitoring system with the zūmo, which includes pairing each sensor individually with the device. Once you have entered the vehicle type and number of wheels, the device will guide you in pairing the sensors. The battery should be removed from each sensor until it is ready to be paired to the device.
Alerts: During the pairing procedure, you will be prompted to enter the recommended and minimum tire pressure for each tire. The zūmo will trigger a low pressure alert when a sensor reports a tire pressure lower than the entered minimum pressure. The device will also report a low sensor battery or a non-connected sensor.
Power Requirements: The TPMS is powered by a single 3-volt BR1225 Lithium coin cell battery. A single battery may last up to 300 hours of run time, depending upon individual use. The sensor has a low-power mode, which begins after a short period of time without detecting movement. Once movement is detected, the sensor "wakes up" and begins transmitting data again after about 30 seconds.
Waterproof: The Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor is built for extreme conditions. It can withstand temperatures from 14° to 140°F, and is IPX7-certified for water resistance.
