Overview: The LF-V30 LocationFree Base Station
is used to stream video and audio from your existing home theater system to your
computer (or other compatible device), anywhere you have access to the internet.
The communication is two-way so you can also control the home components from
your remote location.
Compatibility: The LocationFree Base Station
can stream your home entertainment to a variety of client devices; Windows based desktops
or notebooks, Sony PSP, or Windows Mobile pocket PC.
Stream at Home: The LF-V30 allows you to carry your TV throughout the house. With built-in 802.11 a/b/g
wireless LAN technologies, the base station
streams your TV or DVR content throughout your home, up to
100 feet.
Stream away from Home: The base station connects to your source device(s) and utilizes your home
internet connection to stream your entertainment for you to access elsewhere on a compatible client device.
Simply connect to
the internet on your compatible device and launch the
LocationFree player for full access to any device connected
to your LocationFree Base Station.
Control: A programmable
version of your home remote is displayed on-screen,
giving you remote control of your home system. Commands are sent to the source
components through the included IR blaster. The base station has a two IR
outputs, so a second blaster can be added.

Local TV: Tune in
the local TV stations on your cable box, satellite receiver, or VCR and watch them
on your client device. As long as you have access to a broadband internet
connection, you can be half way around the world and still watch and control your home
system.DVR: Like the cable box, you can watch and control content
from your DVR from
another location.
Other Devices: You can also connect you VCR, DVD player, or any
other device with composite, component, or S-video; even a camcorder for
home monitoring.
LAN Connection: The LF-V30 can be
hardwired to your network, or connect wirelessly. If hardwired, the base station
can serve as a wireless access point, creating a wireless network for other
devices.
PSP Portable TV: PSP systems come
pre-installed with the LocationFree software, making it easy
for you to watch your home TV, DVR, or DVD player on-the-go. With a LocationFree Base Station
transmitting your home TV over the internet, you can simply
connect to the internet with your PSP system and access your
home TV and DVR, which is being broadcast to you from your
home internet connection.
