It is a doubled sided disc with a digital storage capacity of 1.4 GB on each side, totaling 2.8 GB storage capability. In the HQ (High Quality) mode, you can record up to 40 minutes of video. In the SP (Standard Play) mode, you recording time is increased to 60 minutes, and in the LP (Long Play) mode, you can record up to 120 minutes. This disc is in conformity with the DVD-R for General Version 2.0. Note: As you increase the recoding time, the video picture quality will be degraded. Playback Compatibility: Once a DVD-R disc has been recorded and finalized, it can be played back in most regular home DVD players, DVD recorders/players, and computer DVD-ROM drives.
