The FS200 gives you lots of helpful Canon features in a compact, lightweight camcorder. It uses tiny, optional SDHC™ memory cards to store high-quality video and digital photos. You can easily swap out your memory card when it's full, and insert it into other SD card-compatible devices. View movies or still images on a computer, or make copies of your photos using a printer.

Helpful controls and extras
A powerful 37X optical zoom lens gives you a clear view of distant subjects, while the built-in image stabilization helps keep your closeups steady. The advanced image processor provides accurate color reproduction, so you get vibrant, realistic videos and photos. For more professional-looking footage, use the selectable level and grid markers on the LCD to frame your subject and keep your shot even with the horizon.

Easy record and playback features
Canon's 16:9 recording mode lets you capture wide-format home movies that'll fit your widescreen TV perfectly. The dual record button lets you snap photos while recording video, so you won't have to fumble between recording modes. Canon's Video Snapshot feature lets you capture four-second video clips, and then stitches the clips together to create a movie for you, complete with supplied music. You can connect this camcorder directly to a TV via its audio/video output to show off your footage to friends and family, or use the included USB cable to transfer your footage to a computer for easy editing and backup storage.
