Many cars have acoustic problems that interfere with an in-dash receiver's ability to produce clear, well-balanced sound. Your receiver's equalizer may help, but Alpine offers a better way. The PXA-H100 IMPRINT Audio Processor plugs into the Ai-NET input on most 2008 Alpine receivers, analyzes your vehicle's acoustics, and uses the MultEQ feature developed by Audyssey Labs to adjust the receiver's output for the best possible audio performance.
Easy to use
In order to use the IMPRINT, you'll need to purchase Alpine's KTX-H100 tuning kit. Connect the microphone from the KTX-H100 tuning kit, then load the supplied software onto your laptop PC. Use the the included USB cable to connect your PC to the PXA-H100, then use the software to tailor your sound.
Automatic adjustment
The PXA-H100 analyzes over 500 soundwave points to produce a perfectly corrected sound curve for your vehicle and then saves it safely in its memory. The entire tuning process only takes about 10 minutes. You can use the PXA-H100 with your Alpine's built-in amplifier or with external amps in your system.
Sonic toolbox
If you want to get hands-on, the PXA-H100 also features a 5-band parametric or 7-band graphic equalizer, manual crossover controls, and manual 6-channel time-correction controls as well. The PXA-H100 provides a pass-through connection, so you can still add other gear to the Ai-NET bus. It also adds three sets of 4-volt preamp outputs plus Alpine's sound-correcting MediaXpander function to your receiver.
