These replaced the OEM speakers in my Titan. They made the OEM head unit sound much better. I was worried that the OEM head unit would not have sufficient power but the specs for the speakers and once installed proved otherwise. Now I am ready for a new head unit and amp to really utilize these speakers capability. They did not get highest rating because Alpine does not include spade connectors or any wire for connecting them. My vehicle also does not have an adaptor that Crutchfield has to connect so I had to purchase wire and spade connectors to complete installation otherwise it would have been a 5 star review..
