And, thanks to the included Echo-3 two-way remote control/pager, you'll enjoy instant alarm and vehicle status reports on an easy-to-read LCD display keychain. An audible or vibrating alert will let you know if your car alarm has been triggered, even when you're up to a quarter-mile from your car's location.

The Crime Guard 750i6 security system provides rock-solid security for peace of mind when you're away from your car.

If you have more than one car you want to protect, the 750i6 system also supports multi-car operation — you can equip two cars with 750i6 alarms and enjoy the convenience of using a single remote for both vehicles.

This system also features:

  • a dual-zone shock sensor that detects violations around your car's interior and exterior. The sensor chirps when the vehicle's bumped and sets off the alarm with multiple bumps or an interior violation;
  • glass-breakage detection for added property protection;
  • two sensor ports for more flexibility when setting up the system;
  • a powerful siren that warns of an intrusion;
  • a starter interrupt feature which prevents the starter from operating during unauthorized use
  • a patented databus port for easier integration with your car's electrical system.
  • integration with factory remote start system through the system's data port

Need more peace of mind? The 750i6 boasts ignition-activated doorlocks, carjacking protection, and an included backup battery. The Unauthorized Transmitter Alert lets you know when another remote has been programmed to operate your system.

The 750i6 also features a coded override switch for valet parking or if someone else is using your car. You'll also find four onboard relays, including two relays that can be programmed to lock your doors, sound your horn, flash your lights, or perform other tasks.

Crime Guard's vehicle-specific quick interconnect harnesses cut down on installation time by attaching directly to your vehicle's wiring plugs for power, signal, and other connections, depending on the system. Call our friendly Advisors toll-free at 1-888-955-6000 to see if we have harnesses available for your vehicle.

Features

Built-in Door Lock Relays: Relays are built-in for the door lock/unlock outputs, so this alarm can directly control negative trigger, positive trigger and reversing polarity door lock systems. On the right side of the alarm module, there is a 4-pin door lock port that may be used with a Crime Guard door lock module.

Driver Door Priority Unlock: In order to activate the driver door priority unlock feature, you will need to plug a DLRU door lock relay harness (item number 514DLRU) into the 4-pin DLS port on the alarm brain, plus splice in an additional relay (item number 120E5000).

Omega Echo-3 Technology: The Omega Echo-3 is a 2-way remote transceiver with an LCD screen. In addition to operating the alarm system, the Echo-3 receives signals from the system and displays a variety of system conditions on its LCD screen. The 2-way controller has numerous icons to indicate the status of the alarm system, and will alert you (chirp or vibration) if the system is in alarm mode. You can also customize the LCD display to match your vehicle (car, truck, or SUV). The Echo-3 also includes a window-mounted long-range receiver/antenna, which has an integrated valet switch and LED status lights. In addition to the 2-way Echo-3 controller, the 750i6 includes a standard 4-button remote.

Valet Switch: The Valet Switch is a small push-button, located on the Echo-2's window-mounted receiver/antenna module, with three main functions:

  • Valet Mode: turns off the security operation of the system, including the Last Door Arming feature (if used).
  • Emergency Override: used in conjunction with the vehicle's ignition key, to disarm the security system, in the event the transmitter is lost or becomes inoperable.
  • Programming: used in procedures for programming operational features and for programming transmitters to operate the system.

AU-77MP Multi-tone "Psyren": The included "psycho siren" emits two tones (the 2nd tone begins 3 seconds after the first), making it sound like two different sirens going off at the same time. The compact size of the siren allows placement flexibility. A wire loop on the siren determines whether the siren emits soft or loud arm/disarm chirps.

Anti-Carjacking Protection: The 750i6 is equipped with three separate Anti-Carjacking protection features, whose operation may be selectively activated by the ignition, by an open door (while the engine is running), or by the transmitter. All three are programmable and must be turned on to operate. Once activated, the user has 53 seconds to cancel the Anti-Carjacking protection process by pressing the Valet Switch. If Anti-Carjacking isn't canceled within that time, the siren will begin to chirp for 7 seconds to alert the user that the system is about to enter into an alarm condition. If the 60-second countdown expires, the siren will sound and the parking lights will flash, and in 30 seconds (or if the ignition is turned off) the starter interrupt is engaged.

Battery Backup: To maintain protection when the vehicle's battery runs down or is disconnected, a 9V battery is included for installation inside the alarm brain (there is a door that must be removed from the brain's casing to install the battery); the battery connects to the alarm with a 2-pin plug-in harness. While operating on the backup battery, the starter kill circuit remains engaged, but the system will automatically cancel the flashing light output, the LED, and any optional sensors to conserve power.

Transmitter Protection: One of the most vulnerable area of a remotely-controlled system is the transmitter (remote). The system has three security safeguards for the transmitters:

  • Code Jumping: The system's Code Jumping feature randomly changes the code each time the transmitter sends a signal, rendering "code grabbing" devices useless.
  • Automatic Transmitter Verification (ATV): The system's Automatic Transmitter Verification shows the total number of transmitters which can operate the system by flashing the Status Light with this number for 10 seconds every time the ignition key is turned on.
  • Unauthorized Transmitter Alert: This system warns you whenever a new transmitter has been coded to operate alarm. For the first 48 hours after the programming mode has been accessed or the main power has been disconnected, the siren will emit a series of chirps each time the car is started and the ATV visual display increases to 90 seconds. If the Automatic Transmitter Verification indicates more than the usual number of transmitters are coded, you know that someone (a mechanic, valet, etc.) has managed to code an additional transmitter to the system, and you should recode your transmitters to prevent a potential thief from disarming the system. The alarm is capable of learning the codes for up to four remotes.

Remotes: Two remotes are included with the system: one 2-way controller w/LCD and a 1-way standard remote. The remotes have the following functions:

  • "Lock" button:
    • arms system and locks doors
    • press and hold for 3 seconds to activate the panic mode, arms the system, engages the starter interrupt, and lock the doors
    • pressing and releasing the button 2 times within 5 seconds will activate the 2-way controller's parking timer which you can use to time how long you have parked your vehicle in a particular spot or parking meter
  • "Unlock" button:
    • disarms system and unlocks doors (if the alarm has been triggered, it will disarm the activated alarm, but not unlock the doors unless the button is pressed again)
    • press and hold for 3 seconds to first disarm, then activate the panic mode and unlock the doors
    • can be programmed to disarm and unlock driver door only with one press
    • can be programmed to disarm and unlock all doors with two presses
  • "II" button on side of 2-way controller/"trunk" button on 1-way remote:
    • press and hold for 2 seconds to activate the channel #2 remote output (typically used to for trunk release operation)
    • twice will silent arm or silent disarm alarm (without confirmation chirps)
    • if pressed immediately after arming, the alarm will stay armed but the shock sensor feature is bypassed
    "III" button on side of 2-way controller/red "*" button on 1-way remote:
    • pressing and releasing 2 times in 5 seconds will activate the 3rd channel output. This will also activate a factory remote start if equipped, and system configured to do so
    • can be re-programmed for additional operations
  • 2-Button Combinations:
    • Lock + Unlock Buttons: activates 3rd channel output
    • Lock + "II": activates optional 4th channel remote output
    • Unlock + "III": activates optional 5th channel remote output
  • "Program" button (found on 2-way controller only):
    • illuminates the LCD screen
    • pressing "P" + Lock for 1 second selects Car 1 (when 2 cars are being controlled)
    • pressing "P" + Unlock for 1 second selects Car 2
    • User-programmable features:
      • Select Chirp or Mute (replaced with vibration)
      • Vehicle type for display (passenger car, SUV, or pickup truck) for each vehicle
      • Time Adjust
      • Start/Stop melody (used with remote starting)

Data Port: Omega IntelliKit data bus interface modules and bypass kits can simply plug into the green 4-pin Data port on the front of the control module. These data bus interface modules are vehicle-specific, and can cut down on installation time by interfacing with your factory OEM door lock, immobilizer bypass and alarm control wiring.

Built-in Dome Light Turn-on Relay: A built-in relay is dedicated to dome light supervision operation. The relay may be connected to control a negative or positive trigger dome light. When the alarm is disarmed, the dome light supervision feature turns on the dome light for 30 seconds, or until the ignition is turned on. The dome light supervision feature helps you locate your vehicle at night, and it allows you to see an intruder hiding inside the vehicle before you open the door.

Safety Disarm Feature: When the alarm is triggered and in a full warning condition, the safety disarm feature allows you to disarm the alarm without unlocking the doors of the vehicle. This feature allows the vehicle to remain secure, even though an activated system has been disarmed. The Safety Disarm Feature is particularly useful when the vehicle is exposed to conditions, such as storms, trains or animals, which may cause false triggers.

Remote Outputs: The 750i6 has two remote outputs (2nd and 3rd channels) and can be configured for two more (4th and 5th channels). The 2nd channel output is designed specifically to operate your vehicle's electric power trunk release. It will not operate when the ignition switch is "on" unless the vehicle's door is open. The 3rd channel output will operate regardless of the ignition switch being "on" or "off", and there is no audible or visual confirmation as in the 2nd channel output. It can be used to trigger a remote car starter or window roll-up module. The 4th and 5th channel outputs are available if more remote control functions are desired. These outputs can be repurposed from two other system outputs: the built-in door lock and unlock relays.

Alarm Condition Recall Memory: If the system enters an alarm condition, the LED will begin to flash in sequence to indicate which zone caused the trigger; the recall memory circuit can store two consecutive zone violations (if there has been more than two zones violated, the memory will recall the two most recent violations). The LED will flash twice then pause for a hood or trunk violation, three times then pause for a door violation and four times then pause for a sensor violation.

Programmable Features: The following programmable features are easily programmed using only the ignition, valet button, and a transmitter:
