Features
Overview: The Mirage Nanosat Prestige 5 Speaker Package consists of
four matching Nanosat Prestige satellites and a Nano center channel. The Nanosat
Prestige 5 Speaker Package utilizes patented Omnipolar technology to disperse
sound in a completely immersive 360-degree pattern to perfectly recreate the
experience of a live event.
Omnipolar Technology: This design radiates sound in a
perfectly spherical dispersion pattern, expanding the sweet spot to encompass
virtually the entire room.
Omniguide Design: A conically shaped cylinder that is responsible for
reflecting sound in a perfect 360 degree pattern. This unique design guarantees
the same tonal balance and dispersion characteristics no matter how and where
you mount the speakers.
Four Satellite Speakers: The four matching Nanosat Prestige satellite
speakers features a single 2.75" titanium deposit polypropylene cone with a
butyl rubber surround and a single 0.75" pure titanium hybrid tweeter mounted on
the Omniguide housed in an acoustic suspension enclosure. The satellite
speakers' cabinets are made of a very solid inert medium density fiberboard (MDF)
which creates a solid, flex-free cabinet which eliminates music altering
distortion. The cabinet includes a high gloss black finish. The satellite
speakers have high quality gold-plated binding posts to accept banana plugs,
spades, or bare wire.
Center Channel Speaker: The center speaker house a 3" polypropylene
cone midrange with butyl rubber surround and a 2/3" pure titanium hybrid (PTH)
dome tweeter mounted on the Omniguide. The center speaker has an acoustic
suspension, extruded aluminum enclosure in a beautiful high gloss black finish.
The center speaker features high-quality spring post speaker terminals for a
secure and convenient connection. You will need to remove a plug that's inserted
in the center of the binding post if you wish to use single banana plugs, the
terminals are too far apart for dual banana plugs. Spade connectors, pin
connectors, or bare wire up to 10 gauge can also be used.
Video Shielded: The satellite speakers and center-channel speaker are
magnetically shielded so you can even place on or next to your television
without distortion.
Mounting Options: The Mirage Nanosat Prestige 5 Speaker Package
offers a variety of mounting options for the system's satellite speakers and
center-channel speaker.
- Satellite Speakers: The four matching Nanosat Prestige satellite
speakers can be wall mounted using the supplied bolt-on keyhole slot
brackets or mounted onto an optional floor stand (MS-STB-1) designed
specifically for the NANOSAT speaker family. The supplied brackets allow the
satellite speakers to be easily mounted to the wall and out of the way. The
brackets can swivel 90 degrees left to right. The bracket is removable. The
satellite speakers also come supplied with four self-adhesive rubber feet
(each) so you can place the speakers securely and safely on a shelf or
stand.
- Center Speaker: The center speaker comes with a metal horizontal
mounting bracket so you can mount the center channel to your wall. The
bracket is mounted with two screws (not supplied) to the wall and can
position the speaker right side up or upside down. The center speaker slips
into place overtop the bracket once the bracket is mounted to the wall. The
bracket mounts the speaker flush to the wall or two 1/4" spacers are
provided to space the speaker approximately a 1/4" from the wall. The center
speaker also comes supplied with a rubber platform base and self-adhesive
rubber feet to place the center speaker securely and safely on your shelf or
stand. If you place the speaker on a table or shelf, put it as close to the
front edge as possible.
Note: The speakers should be inverted with grille facing downwards
when they are mounted above 6 feet. The speakers should be mounted normally
with the grill facing up when they are mounted below 6 feet.
Optional Subwoofer: For increased low-frequency response, the optional
Mirage Prestige S10 and S8 subwoofers let your hear and feel dynamic music and
movie content. While these models differ in driver size and power, they both
feature patented Ribbed Elliptical Surround technology, a design that eliminates
surround distortion, enabling the subwoofer to play lower with greater output
and fidelity.
