I really didn't want to spend the extra money to upgrade my cables but I am so glad that I did! I was totally amazed at the difference this cable made to my LCD television. I didn't realize that quality cables could actually change the picture quality of your televison. I watch alot of sports and the images were much more crisp and the movement of the athletes was astounding!!! I highly recommend this cable! Thanks Hunter for recommending this cable to me. 1 out of 1 people found this helpful Was this review helpful? Yes | No 5 out of 5 HDMI Cable review Written By George, Annville, PA on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 Obviously, this cable is nearly perfect, in that the Blu-Ray pictures are as clear and defined as visual acuity is able to discern! The cost is mildly expensive, BUT, when you get the box and see that there are FOUR "levels" of Audioquest cables, and this is SECOND from the "bottom." (This cable has a 2.5% silver content, while the "upper level" cables contain 5 and 10% silver--boggling the mind at THEIR costs.) I am assuming that, as usual, Crutchfield is looking out for us by getting the best cable for the money and not offering "exotic" gear that is most likely not able to be differentiated from the merely GOOD gear! A word to the wise: do NOT attempt to save a bit of money and get only a 1-meter cable, even if your components are in close proximity--like one shelf apart! This cable is STIFF! You will NEED two meters just to bend and flex it around things! I think that HDMI is the best invention yet in audio-visual reproduction, but, I would have loved to see them incorporate screw-type connections, like the old-style computer printer connectors. The torque on these stiff cables makes it difficult to turn the receiver / DVD player on the shelf after hook-up is completed. At least that is my opinion! Possibly, if you have an open type of rack, and can comfortably get behind it to hook everything up, you will have an easier time. But be warned: these are heavy and stiff cables. However, they are as close to perfection as my old eyes and ears can tell. 35 out of 42 people found this helpful Was this review helpful? You can see the quality that's in this cable. I didn't want some all purpose HDMI cable. The outer cover has a very nice look to it and is sturdy. Much better than those plastic covers you see on other brands. Picture quality is excellent with 1080p. Crutchfield is the best to order supplies from. Very fast shipping. 43 out of 56 people found this helpful Was this review helpful?
