Product Research

Features

Overview: The Wiremold Flat Screen TV Cord Cover allows you to hide and organize loose audio/video and power cables that dangle below your wall-mounted flat screen TV. The 2-piece channel (consisting of a base and snap-on cover) can be cut to length and painted to blend seamlessly into any wall.

Installation: Once the Flat Screen TV Cord Cover is cut to the desired length, the base is attached to the wall using the supplied wall anchors and self-tapping screws. The TV's power cord and audio/video cables can be positioned over the top of the base and the cover snapped into place. If you need to add or remove a cable, the cover can be easily removed. The cover's channel is approximately 3" in width, and 7/16" in height internally. You can paint or stain the cover, if desired, to make it less visible.

Customer Q&A

9 questions already asked

Q
Can I get flat screen tv wiremold any longer than 30â???
donald n.  Dec 30, 2022
1 answer
A
This is our longest option of 30", Donald. If you need to make a longer run, you could potentially use two CMK30's (or more if needed) since you can cut these to a desired length or paint them to match a room. I hope this helps!

Q
Is this removable if thereâ??s any problem with the wire or installing additional accessories?
kidlat  Jun 12, 2022
1 answer
A
Yes they are Rigs! There's no worries here, once the Wiremold Flat Screen TV Cord Cover is in place you can remove it to add/remove cables or remove it from the wall completely. You will need to use 4 drywall anchors (included in the package) to mount the base to the wall. The cover snaps on top! All parts are completely removeable if needed, and this makes for a really clean install!

Q
Is there a 'T' and 'elbow' connector available for this cord cover? 3" wide...
chris  Jul 12, 2019

It has been some time since I purchased this cover, I do not recall seeing any available "T" or "elbow" connections associated with this kit. Since it has been so long since my purchase maybe something new has developed?

the HDMIs, the RCA should all fit. The power cord may be pushing it depending on the thickness

I have my Apple TV HDMI, Blue Ray DVD HDMI and power cables running through mine and there is plenty of room left over.
robert  Apr 07, 2015

Q
Can this be painted to match the wall?
wendy  Jun 17, 2014
5 answers
A
Absolutely. It takes paint well. 2 coats should do it. It gives a very clean and finished look.
fred  Jun 17, 2014
A
According to the manufacturer, yes. I have not painted it yet, but it does appear like it would be able to be color matched. The plastic is not glossy but has a slightly rough texture. I do plan on painting it to match the wall and don't see any reason why the paint would not adhere. I hope this helps in some way.
bradley  Jun 17, 2014
A
Absolutely. I would suggest rolling it on vs brushing it, but that is not a requirement, and I would do 2 coats, as after I used that approach, it blends in so well as to be essentially invisible.
greg  Jun 17, 2014
A
Yes, these may be painted to match the wall. I recommend painting before you install, because it will be easier to adjust or remove once installed.
van c  Jun 17, 2014
A
Yes it can. I painted ours dark red to match our wall. Very easy.
sergio  Jun 17, 2014
Q
Can two or more of these be mounted in line and close enough together to look like one continuous cover?
pete matthews  Mar 29, 2014

A
As an owner, I'd suggest not if you want an unbroken look. My 2c.
