Show your customers any game on any TV

If you've been looking for a way to improve your restaurant or bar's audio/video capabilities, Metra's M3B system is a flexible solution that offers easy source selection for a wall — or several walls — of TVs. The CS-HDM3BTX1 is an HDMI-to-coaxial transmitter that takes an incoming HDMI source and provides multiple distribution possibilities. Using compatible receivers, the M3B system opens the door to crisp HD video across an array of displays.

Distribute your HD content via RG-6 coax cable

The distribution system consists of two core components. The transmitter takes an HDMI source and converts it to a high-definition RF signal, which is then sent via RG-6 coax cable to one or more CS-HDM3BRX1 receivers (required, sold separately). Connect each receiver directly to a TV, A/V receiver or projector with an HDMI cable. The transmitter has a selectable output channel that is matched up at the receiver to display a particular source. You can pick which source you want displayed with either the receiver's remote control or a universal one. A front-panel display on the receiver indicates which corresponding transmitter has been selected.

Use this flexible solution in a variety of ways

If you're sending one source to one display, a single transmitter and receiver will do the job. If you want to take one source and send it to multiple displays, simply feed your transmitter into a bi-directional coax splitter like this one. You can then output to as many receivers as you want. Now, here's where it really gets cool — you can feed up to 100 different HDMI sources to 'TX1 transmitters and send any of them to connected 'RX1 receivers at the click of a button.

If you run a sports bar and want to be able to show any game on any of your displays, this gives you the flexibility you're looking for. You can keep all of your cable boxes, satellite receivers, and HD streaming boxes in a central location and run reliable, inexpensive coaxial cable throughout your building. The M3B system can broadcast your HD content well over 2,000 feet and still maintain top-notch picture quality.
