Crossovers: The component system includes passive 2-way crossover networks for a seamless transition between the woofers and tweeters. The slope is 12dB per octave (both high pass and low pass) and the crossover point is 4000 Hz. A switch on each crossover allows you to set the tweeter output; 0 dB, +3 dB, or +6 dB. Each crossover's input and output wires are attached; the 35" woofer output has quick slide terminals that connect directly to the woofer and the 35" tweeter output has bullet terminals that mate to the terminals on the tweeter wires.

What is the frequency rating for the tweeters alone?

Greetings Chase. Thank you for your question. What we are going to have is the crossover point at 4K. effective high frequency is up to 21K. Basically what the provided crossovers will do. More technical information than that would need to be directed to Stillwater Designs (Kicker). Their number is 405-624-8583.

What would be the best 4 channel amp to use to push two sets of these?

I have a set of these installed in my truck - in the front doors. I am just using an aftermarket Head Unit - Kenwood - and they sound pretty good. So based on that, you don't need a lot of power, so I would say any quality 4 channel, with around 25W to 30W per channel would work great.

Where can I get a grill guard for this product? And how much will it be? I searched Crutchfield but could not find anything.

I did not use grills, since I mounted them in the factory locations for both speakers. The woofer mounted directly in the existing location. I then removed the factory tweeter and used a drill press to drill a huge hole right through the factory tweeter that the Kicker tweeter would fit through (using a hole saw). Then I just re-mounted it in the factory tweeter location, basically using the old speaker as a mounting bracket for the new one. It worked great and only took a few minutes to do.

It is typically suggested that the factory speaker grilles are using with a speaker upgrade application.
