Hard-hitting CompC sub

The 12" CompC sub features a flex-resistant polypropylene cone for hard-hitting lows without distortion, with a ribbed foam surround that promotes long excursion and helps to keep the cone on target. A heavy-duty steel basket provides a reliable foundation for big bass, and extensive venting ensures long-lasting performance that won't break down when the bass gets heavy.

Heavy-duty enclosure

Sturdy medium-density fiberboard ensures long-lasting performance from the enclosure, and the special-design side port enhances bass production without getting sloppy. The enclosure's 4-ohm impedance is compatible with a wide range of amplifiers.

Q
Will this fit in a 2023 Honda accord?
matthew  Oct 29, 2023

A
Greetings Matthew. Thank you for your question. The 2023 Accord has plenty of room in its trunk. You will have no issues fitting this in.

Q
I have a 2008 Honda civic si coupe and am just wondering if this will fit in the trunk close to the seats? I believe this is a 16 inch tall enclosure.
dennis  Mar 02, 2023

A
We do not qualify fit on universal subwoofer enclosures like the Kicker 44VCWV124, Dennis. What we advise is taking accurate measurements of your space and comparing to the listed specs on the Kicker box. Looking at the rough measurements we have for your trunk area on your 2008 Si you have only 15" of height available for a box. This Kicker does not look like a fit, sadly. I would use something like the Kicker 48CVTDF122 in the link below. This has a 12" in a down-firing box that looks like a better fit! https://www.crutchfield.com/p_20648CF122/Kicker-48CVTDF122.html

Q
What is the minimum RMS watts for this subwoofer and box?
joseph  Oct 18, 2022
1 answer
A
These subwoofers will not come listed with a minimum RMS requirement, Joseph. In my opinion you would want to send this sub at least 100-150 watts RMS to get good performance/decent bass out of it. I hope this helps!

Q
What would be a good amp for this?
omar  Nov 25, 2019

A
Thanks for your question. For information on selecting the best amp for your subs I would recommend reaching out to an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They will be able to help determine the differences between the amp models and help you make the best choice for your system.
