Some of our articles are written by people outside of our usual writing team. They're typically Crutchfield employees in other departments, but we'll sometimes feature articles written by folks from outside the company as well.
The Crutchfield writing team is a group of more than 20 full-time, in-house copywriters who share a passion for consumer electronics.
In addition to creating the articles and videos you find on the Crutchfield website, these hard-working and talented people also write the informational copy for the products on our website and the articles in the Crutchfield catalog.
Our writers constantly research the latest products, technologies, and industry trends, so that we can bring you the most helpful information possible.
Most of the people appearing in our videos are employees at Crutchfield. We pull in folks from around the company to share their expertise. A lot of our on-camera stars come from our Advisor Group — they help people choose the right gear via phone, email and chat every day, so they're good at explaining the products and technologies.

I started out with Crutchfield as an intern after graduating from Radford University. I'm now the social media producer, and spend my days creating content that shares Crutchfield's passion and expertise. I love interacting with customers online every day, and learning about all of the awesome gear we sell through training and hands-on projects! Outside of work I love to travel, so solid road trip playlists and great sound are a must! I might be a recent addition to the team, but as it turns out, my dad bought the stereo I grew up jamming to from Crutchfield before I was born, so you could say I've been connected to the company my whole life.
I'm a novice audiophile, but I've learned a lot after interning at Crutchfield on their Search Engine Optimization team. I have one year left at UVA, where I'm working on a bachelor's degree in economics and French. Before Crutchfield, I was a cash analyst, a media studio consultant and a customer service representative at UVA's bookstore. I've written articles about Arts and Entertainment for the Cavalier Daily. There are a surprising number of horror movie reviews from me. Fancy headphones and speakers make me happy - even more so after interning at Crutchfield.
