Before I snagged this sweet Crutchfield gig, I spent a decade at a software training company making sure we explained complicated programs like Photoshop and Pro Tools in an easy-to-understand way. I've tried to channel that idea in my writing here by getting right to the heart of what I find cool about a product. That's usually easy to do since I regularly get hands-on with the sound bars, smart home products, and pet gear I write about.
While I might be one of the newer faces around here, I'm also a lifelong music fan, amateur photographer, and avid DIYer, so I've felt pretty much at home since my very first day. I'm constantly astounded by the knowledge and enthusiasm that I've found in every corner of this company. Many corners here also contain dogs, which is nice.
And speaking of dogs — I recently worked closely with our local animal shelter on a Crutchfield initiative designed to see how smart pet products can help shelter animals be healthier, happier, and more adoptable. As a longtime volunteer dog walker there, it was truly a passion project for me.
