Eddie is awesome. Honest, no up-selling, no pressure, knows his stuff. I've been a Crutchfield customer since the 1970's (I put a Pioneer rig in my 1975 Corona when it was new) and I've dealt with lots of other companies as well. I don't give praise lightly. This guy is great. So is the company.

I got inundated at the local stereo store with "You need this and that" and "you don't have this so we need to order that". It got more expensive the longer I was there....I got so confused that I walked thru the men's room door thinking it was the exit! Needless to say Eddie walked me thru everything I needed and more importantly, WHY I needed it. Eddie took complicated language and made it simple for me to understand the process of receivers, amps, subs, and an existing in-unit data-bus (didn't know that thing freakin' existed - but Eddie said I needed to leave it be!). Now - if he can only get to Texas and install it for me!

Crutchfield! How can you afford Eddie? Or better, how can all of the other on-line sales companies NOT have an Eddie on their staff? Trustworthy! I'm a former musician and on a teacher salary now. Wanted speakers that would play clear and crisp classical and jazz music in my Chevy Spark. I took his word after I shared my concerns and bought some Kicker 2-Way Speakers. I haven't bought sound equipment for over ten years and had never heard of Kicker. Sounded to me like speakers made for people who like to make their cars sound like vibrating fruit crates at intersections with the volume turned way up. He assured me they would be fine. Installed yesterday and I am so happy with them. The front side of my car doesn't sound like pillows are muffling the speakers. Mid - high frequencies are crisp and clear and although I would've loved to spend hundreds on better speakers, these are all I need. Can't wait til next paycheck to ask Eddie to recommend rear speakers.

I just ordered a replacement head unit for my camper, and Eddie was the representative that took my call. As I have always experienced with Crutchfield, he was helpful and pleasant to chat with, and did not try to push anything on me that I didn't need. He did suggest for my application (based on his personal experience with the product) that I might want to try a pack of the Posi-Products connectors for quick, high-quality, no-solder installation. I have recently called Crutchfield to get some information about a few items and the sales rep that I talked to was Eddie. He answered every question I had asked and was so helpful I ended up purchasing two Kenwood 12" subs, a Sound Ordinance box, a Kenwood amp, and also two Rockford Fosgate 15" subs in a single order. Partly due to the fact that Eddie had made me feel so comfortable about doing business with them. Within another week I had called and dialed Eddie's ext. and left him a voicemail and within a matter of minutes he had returned my call, had all my previous information at hand, and was ready to help me with anything I could've requested. He then completely helped me with my next purchase of two Infinity 12" subs and another Sound Ordinance box. So when I tell the whole world right now that Crutchfield has a five star representative, I mean every single word about it!!! YOU'RE THE MAN EDDIE... P.S.---Two thumbs way way up!
