Clarion's CX505 CD fits your vehicle's double-DIN dash opening and gives you a user-friendly set of controls. It'll bump up your sound quality in a big way, plus give you some great features like Bluetooth and HD Radio.
Built-in Bluetooth lets you talk hands-free, and Clarion put the Bluetooth mic right on the receiver's face so no additional installation is needed. We really like how good the music streaming sounds, too. You can stream at near-CD quality if your Android phone is aptX compatible, or if your iPhone contains AAC music files. The difference in sound quality over regular Bluetooth is noticeable.
Built-in HD Radio really improves the sound quality, too. If your favorite local station broadcasts a digital HD Radio signal, your FM stations will sound almost as good as a CD, while AM stations sound like traditional FM. One nice thing about listening to music on HD Radio is that it really gives you more bass.
You'll also get other great features, like Pandora control, a parametric EQ, and a variable-color display you can match to your interior lighting. The CZ505 is ready for satellite radio, too, with an optional tuner and a subscription.
Replacing your factory radio makes a big difference in sound quality, and gives you some nice extra features, too. We really like how the CX505 looks in a dash, filling out the available space nicely. If you have any questions about this or other radios, please give Crutchfield a call.
