Installation Description

Well, about two days after I got this car, I knew it was missing something, so I installed a Jenson 100x2 amplifer to my two Sony Xplod 12s and it was enough for the time being. But I needed more. So I talked to one of my buddies, and he had a box for three 12s. I purchased that for 30 dollars and I put my 12s in there and got a 12-inch JL Audio from my neighbor for pretty much free. The 15-inch Eclipse just had to be put into the picture because it looks awesome and it fits in my back seat with it folded down (gets me out of driving places). I installed that and my little Jensen amp couldn't handle all that so I went to the local audio video store and purchased my Crossfire vr602 which does the job nicley. I like the extra bump and I have the loudest system at school and in my town.

Q&A Section

Why did you decide to upgrade your A/V system?
I wanted my car to be different in some way or form so I added what I love: SOUND

What's the first thing you show people about your installation?
The first thing they see is that huge 15-inch Eclipse subwoofer in the back seat.

Why did you choose these products?
I had the Sony Xplods and the JL Audio fills the box and it looks pretty cool, too. The JVC deck I got a deal on, and the Eclipse is just a nice thing to have.

What was the most difficult part of the installation?
Fitting the triple 12 box in the trunk of a Cavalier.

What plans, if any, do you have for future upgrades?
I'm going to buy two Crossfire p1 12s and put them in a slit bass port box.
