The Linksys Velop wireless router creates a high-performance mesh Wi-Fi system. These routers are available in 1, 2, or 3 packs, and you can add even more nodes to get solid coverage throughout the entire house. Each router covers up to 2000 square feet and uses six amplified antennas to deliver strong, fast Wi-Fi for your devices.
Setup is pretty simple - download the free Linksys app, plug one node into power and into your modem, and configure your network. All of the modules share a single Wi-Fi name and network, so you're free to roam around the house with uninterrupted connectivity.
The Velop system provides 2 fast 5GHz bands and a 2.4GHz band for older Wireless-N and G devices. You can expect speeds up to 867 Mbps with newer Wireless-AC devices, and speeds up to 400 Mbps with the older N and G devices.
Beamforming technology on both 5GHz bands steers the Wi-Fi connection to each of your mobile devices for better performance.
